I received this in a swap from hapatite. Thank you!

This is not what I was expecting. This tea was very similar to hot cinnamon spice form Harney and Sons. It had the sweet cinnamon in in that I use to love. Unfortunately that sweet cinnamon now throws me for a bit of a loop. I am thankful for the chance to try this one, but it is not for me.

This is one of the teas that MissB included in the mystery pack. Thank you.

I asked MissB if she could throw in a french tea or two and she spoiled me with quite a few. Thank you. I have yet to determine what it is about the few french teas that I have tried. I seem to love them all. This one I am now adding to that list. The base blends so well with the flavors and no one flavor stands out. I will have to sip on this again to determine each individual flavor. I definitely got the citrus and the but the others blended together to make a wonderful afternoon work tea. This one will stay on my wish list in hopes that some day I will be graced with the opportunity to have more:) Thank you MissB

I received this from the box I purchased from LiberTEAS. Thank you for including this one.

I am still in the early stages of pur-eh exploration. I determined tonight that I think I should do two rinses instead of just the one. I don’t really seem to start enjoying the tea until the second or third infusion. This is very mellow. It is tad bit tangy, but a little less so than the other raw pu-erh I had. I have no idea how to describe the flavors I am getting at the moment. This is enjoyable, not something I think I would go running back to. I have enough leaf for one more session so I will give it one more go. I am glad I got to try this one.

This is my last of the sample pack from Just Organic. Thank you.

I think tulsi and I are just not meant to be. As much as I really really want to like this because I love holy basil in my food, in my tea, it is just too much for me. When I do herbals in the evening I want something calming and not over powering. This has enough of a bight in it that it over takes my mouth. I am grateful for the opportunity to try this, but this one is not my cup of tea.

I receieved a sample of this from Just Organic. Thank you.

I am not sure what to make of this one. It has lemon, it has a hint of mint, it has a solid base, and then there is this kick of pepper/spice at the end of the sip. It is a nice calming evening cup. I could see drinking this when I am sick, but I am not sure this would be something I would run to. All of the components of the tea seem to be nicely balanced. Thank you for allowing me to try this one.

I received a sample of this from Just Organic. Thank you!

I haven’t spent a lot of time with straight white teas. I have had a few here and there. This was a nice light slightly floral cup. Like some of the other white tea I have at home I would up the leaf to bring out more of the flavor. I enjoyed this cup. Thank you.

I received a sample of this in Just Organic’s sample pack. Thank you

Green tea scares me. I have had way too many bitter cups of green tea that was suppose to be really good that makes me scared to brew up a cup for fear I might have to dump it down the drain. This cup, was awesome. It was everything I hope for in a green cup of tea. This was light, but packed a taste punch, it was not bitter, and it was almost sweet. This is a little sweeter than other green teas I have had, and not as buttery. This was a solid green tea. I am really glad I pulled this one out tonight. Thank you!

I received this in a swap from hapatite. Thank you!

This was the last of the three black Lupicia blends she sent. I have to say that this was my favorite. I also decreased the steep time quite a bit which bade the base not so in your face. It was a great tropical fruit tea. I enjoyed this both hot and cold today at work. Thanks again for sharing these special Hawaii teas with me hapatite

I received a sample of this from KiwiDelight. Thank you!

The reviews of this tea were not that great, and I have to be honest I also wasn’t a huge fan. The base was very light and did not support the off tasting bergamot. I am grateful for the chance to try another EG, bu this one wasn’t my favorite.

I received this in a swap from hapatite. Thank you!

This was the second of three Hawaii addition teas that hapatite sent me. This was pretty tasty. My biggest complaint is the base. It is a tad on the astringent side for me. I think on the last of the 3 teas I will try a shorter steep time to see if this helps. This seemed like it would have been a great iced tea. It was very fragrant and fruity. It was a nice afternoon cup on this sunny day.

Bio

I started drinking tea while on a 4 month long cycling trip through South America. It seemed to always be a great way to warm up when I was cold and it was always available everywhere. Mate was the big tea of choice down there and it was also a great way to get to know people. When I returned home, my sister introduced me to Teavana and this launched me into the realm of loose leaf tea.
