78 Tasting Notes
Cherry is one of those flavors that gets me to buy things I wouldn’t normally. This tastes of something fruity but I’m not sure it’s cherry. After looking at the ingredient list, I see there isn’t anything cherry about this tea other than the name. Possibly the ‘natural flavors’ but who really knows. It tastes a lot like hibiscus. Who thought that would be a good pairing for almost anything herbal? The hibiscus generally overpowers whatever else it’s with and this is no exception. I suspect that some other people are right and it would be better as an iced tea.
After several cups, I’m still not sure what to make of this tea. It’s vanilla. And it’s pretty sweet on it’s own. I think it might make a better tea latte than drinking it straight. Still haven’t decided it it’s worth a re-buy or not.
I got sucked into this tea by the word ‘coconut’. But I’m not sure if what I smell is coconut or vanilla. Could be both. Either way, it’s very cloying. Very sweet smelling. And ultimately, doesn’t taste like either vanilla or coconut.
I’m dealing with the end of a cold so my sense of taste isn’t what it should be. But I can’t say this thrills me. It’s not horrible but no out of this world either. Just pretty average.
This tasted too much like I imagine coffee would for me to take any pleasure from it.
This is not the most horrible bagged tea I’ve had. It’s actually pretty palatable compared to some I’ve had but it also doesn’t ‘wow’ me. I might buy it again if I were stuck with nothing else.
