Sipdown!!! yeah, that brings me to 200 teas in my collection!! Maybe I can get one more sipdown in today, just to take it to 199…maybe.

This is not a bad little tea, sent to me quite awhile back, from my tea sister, Sil.

Just Do it! :D
I’m so glad I finally let go of those 2 EGs. I really tried to like them, but it just wasn’t meant to be. :p

A friend came over today that I haven’t seen for years. She loves tea.
She loves earl grey, so I gave her the rest of this one.

Sipdown! 203 teas left in my collection.
This is the autumn harvest 2012. Although it is a year old, it is still every bit as delicious as it was last year. Green bean, pumpkin, creamy oatmeal. I served this to my student that enjoys green teas, & drank a few cups myself.

I need to drink more green tea, in part to polish off the 2012 greens. I still have some of Verdant’s Bilochun & the Laoshan Dragonwell. I also have all of their spring & summer greens from this year, just waiting to be enjoyed. I actually really enjoy green tea. It’s just not my favorite anymore. Next on my agenda for today: a massage…yeah baby!
I need to be kneaded!

Massage! Jealous! :)

Terri HarpLady

Harp players just need to be massaged on a regular basis. There is no getting around it. Now I just want to take a hot bubble bath & go to bed. But that won’t be happening, cuz I’m rehearsing beatles music with my trio tonight.

I’ve decided I like this tea!
It’s a bold one, to be sure, & really awesome with breakfast.
I don’t recommend drinking it before breakfast, or on an empty stomach, but with breakfast, oh yeah!

Sipdown! 204
I think I’ve made it one of my goals today to get down to 200 teas.
Why not?
Of course, that is just one of my goals. The other goals include 3 hours minimum of practice time, & a couple of hours of writing on my nanowrimo project (I’m miserably behind so far…sigh…).

Drinking more tea seems like the most important of those.

Terri HarpLady

It probably shouldn’t be, but there it is! :D

Another Sipdown! 205!
I’m not gonna go into a long description, because I’m tired & I should be practicing right now. Let’s just say this is delicious, ok?
Cuz right now, it is.

Sipdown! 206!
Yum! That’s all I can say.
I’m back to trying to cut out caffeine after 5 or so, & this is a lovely cup of Delicious.

drank Weeping Angel Tea by 52teas

Sipdown 207!!

Sil sent me this forever, & I’ve been saving this last bit to drink while I watch a Dr. Who episode. Actually, I had planned to rewatch the final Amy & Rory episode, since there are so many Weeping Angels in it, & drink it then. Never happened. Too Busy. I’m miserably behind, as I never got a chance to watch the last 3 episodes of the last season. I really need to watch them before the xmas special, etc.

So I drank this today, or I was going to drink it, but accidentally over steeped it by like 10 minutes (blame little terri & her easily sidetracked mind). So, I didn’t really drink it, because it was lukewarm & terrible. :p
But I still get to claim the sipdown! HA!

I’m so excited to have found this community! I’m a self-employed Harpist (acoustic & electric – Originals, Classical, Rock, Jazz, etc) & Singer/Songwriter. My days & nights revolve around teaching at home, playing gigs, gardening,& fixing awesome food to eat. My schedule is different everyday, but I just go with the flow, & I sip a lot of tea!

My love of Tea began with Herbals back in the 70’s. One of my favorites was a licorice blend from House of Hezekiah, an old tea shop in Kansas City. There was also a tea with mint, rose petals, chamomile, etc called Nuclear Casual Tea.
In the 80’s I gave up caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, (& a few illicit substances…), and brewed medicinal blends & tinctures to support 4 pregnancies (all children born at home). In the 90’s my love affair with green teas began when I discovered ‘The Republic of Tea’. Their beautiful teas & packaging inspired my original song, “TeaMind”, from my CD “Zen Breakfast”. If you’d like to hear the song for free, drop by my website.

In general, I drink my teas straight, but occasionally I add a pinch of Stevia & maybe some coconut or almond milk (I’m allergic to dairy, gluten, & various other things & avoid most sweets.)

I’ve explored a variety of teas:
Whites tend to be a little bland…sorry
Oolongs – wonderfully sensual
Roobios – I’m not a fan in general
Puehr – a fairly new direction for me
I’m not a huge fan of flavored teas, but I do make exceptions, & I’ll try just about anything once.

And Black Tea, Oh how I love thee!!
I am on a quest for the most wonderful breakfast cup! I will find you, my Love!
