2913 Tasting Notes
Sweet honey notes, toastiness, that coriander essence, & fruitiness. This is my after dinner tea.
Dear Sil, would you believe I’m running out of teas? LOL, don’t worry, I have a few left, and the night is young, but it has occurred to me that several of the sipdown candidates I brought to Tony’s are puerh samples, which require multiple steepings.
Nonetheless, I will carry on…waterlogged tea-drunk…
I’ve been overlapping my teas, in an effort to catch up to my steep sister Sil, & I brewed this one & the Plum Oolong at the same time. I added a little stevia to the Oolong, because it benefits from a little sweet, & drank it with my dinner (BBQ! Tony was having sweet tea, I had Plum Oolong).
As I was drinking that tea, I realized it wasn’t sweet at all. When I started drinking this one, I realized it was, LOL. Oops!
Oh well, the sweetness was actually nice, bringing out the fruitiness of this one. Although it’s not amazing, it’s ok for a bagged Shu.
Here’s another tea sample from Sil. This is another Beijing Wuyutai foil package, this one is cream colored. As soon as I opened it, my sinuses were assailed with the sweet aroma of Jasmine. Yup, a potent jasmine tea, this one is. Maybe too potent for me.
This one brings my count down to 227, Sil. I’m not sure how many more teas I can handle today, but we’ll see.
Another one from Sil, I couldn’t find the company, & I’m too lazy to enter it, lol.
This is a chamomile tea from La Indiana infusiones. I needed a break from all the caffeine, haha. It’s nicely sweet & appley, like chamomiles are suppose to be. Thanks Sil!
Tony & I are watching ‘7 Psychopaths’ & contemplating BBQ for dinner.
