Recently I ordered a bunch of tea from Adagio and just recently got it in. Ever since I first opened the bag and smelled Sirius I kept wanting to try it. With the humid weather here, hot tea rarely mixes with it. Last night after it cooled down I finally resigned myself to make some. In the bag Sirius smells divine! Like red hots or cinnamon candy in general. It has a mellow taste at first, but seemed to sharpen the longer it was in my cup. There’s definite sharp notes of oriental spice with a lemony aftertaste. I have a feeling that this tea will become a favorite of mine. It’s just so good!!

I would have to say that this is my first successful tea blend I have made. I was able to bring out a nice even blend between the lapsang and the tiger eye. It’s quite smoky yet evenly so, which is smoothed out by the tiger eye and earl grey moonlight. Needless to say I find it absolutely delicious and I cant stay away!

It was very floral smelling and had a unique taste. It’s one of those teas that you cant nail down the taste to a t, yet you still end up liking it.

The taste was quite unique and at first wasn’t too sure about it. But the more I tasted I could defiantly taste the Earl Grey Green. The others teas complimented it well it wasn’t too mellow or too spicy. It was just right :)

I was expecting a bit more out of this blend since it had Lapsang in it. But it wasn’t the least bit smoky, the tiger eye was more dominant. It had more of a chocolaty taste than I cared for.

hello Apothecary! do you still have some of this Tony Stark tea? i love lapsang blends and i would be happy to swap some teas with you cuz i’d love to try it. i could even send you some extra bags for packaging it if that would help?

The Apothecary

I no longer have my Tony Stark anymore. I gave it to a friend who was interested in trying it. I have an almost full bag of Aziraphile that I’m not overly fond of. I would be willing to swap, if you’re interested that is :)

Shmiracles

aww, well i was interested in the stark because of the lapsang. so i guess i’ll pass on Aziraphile. (i’m currently drowning in swap teas and should really restrain myself if i can) but thanks for responding!!

Hey no problem! I know the feeling it’s so hard to cut back, when there are so many good teas out there!

I was a bit skeptical about trying this because I’ve never had white tea before. Plus the smell in the bag was a little off putting. However upon tasting it I had a way better opinion of this tea. In the cup the smells like cinnamon rolls and even tastes like them too! It doesn’t need much sugar just a small amount will do. It might also be good with a little honey.

This is another great blend that is on my favorites list. It smells so good in the bag and tastes better in my tea mug! I was a bit skeptically about it at first, since of the vanilla. I’m not too big on vanilla. However blended with Earl Grey Bravo, and Blackberry it’s surprisingly pleasant!
