143 Tasting Notes
This is going to be short, because I just had a couple sips off of someone else’s tea. It has a thick, robust ( in a good way ) green tea taste kind of like I was expecting, but it is surprisingly smooth and creamy. I’m kind of curious how this would be with milk and ice.
Oh mannnn, are you kidding me? This stuff is GOOD. I blended it up with ice, will have to try it hot. It tastes kind of like sweet toasted almond to me, in addition to caramel. I don’t really get much of a tea taste, but I wasn’t expecting to.
Roasty-toasty tasting, with a creamlike/smooth mouthfeel. The last sample of a batch of great tea I ordered from this company, most of which I’d be happy to drink again in the future.
The taste I am getting is somewhat vegetal tasting and mildly floral, with notes reminiscent of hot rocks/mineral, and some background notes that remind me of honey. Has a creamy mouthfeel that reminds me of a milk oolong. Excellent tea.
No notes yet. Add one?
This is a rich tasting, good tea. It kind of reminds me of a milk oolong. It has some floralness to. It is also vegetal, but not in a boiled spinach-like kind of way like I experience in some other teas. This is more nuanced and sweet. I’d buy more of this.
Brewing this up using the western method tonight.
First steep is floral, nutty, and has a smooth, pleasant mouthfeel that reminds me of milk oolong.
Second steep is pretty similar, although it is starting to get slightly more vegetal tasting.
Tastes and smells mostly vegetal to me, with some sweet buttery notes in the background. A hint of floralness in here as well. Has a lingering sweet aftertaste that I found quite enjoyable. Great tea, I wish it was a little less pricey though.
This is a quite floral smelling and tasting oolong on the first steep (in a good way). On the second steep it balances out more with earthy/minerally notes. I originally only intended to have one mug of this while watching a movie, but I was enjoying it and drinking it down so fast, I kept pausing the movie to go make more.
