This was delicious with brunch-scrambled tofu, veggie sausage, hashbrowns! I’ll often drink chai or fruit flavored tea with a weekend brunch, but somehow the combination of the smokiness with hearty, savory foods is perfect today.
This is delicious with brown sugar and soymilk. Mmm. :)
Ahhh. This is such a great tea for at work. Un-fussy and always delicious.
♥♥♥ In my last tasting note, I compared this to Adagio’s gingerbread spice tea. I think this is actually better and more flavorful (although I haven’t had Adagio’s recently). This is a great comforting tea.
My order from 52teas came yesterday! I’m so excited! I don’t have to ration my tiny samples anymore. :) I really love this tea. Nice roasted flavor that isn’t overpowering, subtly sweet and cinnamony. Mmmm!
Frank, if you’re reading this..out of curiosity, are the flavors used in this tea vegan? I think I read somewhere that they are unless otherwise indicated, but I was just wondering.
Backlogging from yesterday. This is a nice tea, but nothing really stood out to be about it. The chocolate and strawberry flavors were nice, but the honeybush tasted a little bit medicinal. Not bad, I’m just not sure if honeybush is my favorite base for an “ice creamy” tea.
This is probably as close to the perfect tea surprise for this Christmas morning as I could get. This has a great spiced gingerbready flavor. It reminds me of Adagio’s gingerbread tea, which I haven’t had in a couple of years but a really liked as well.
This is just delicious. I had this with soymilk and a little sugar, and that really brought out the pineapple, coconut and rum flavors.
This is very nice, but not quite as strongly flavored as I had hoped. I haven’t had it with sugar yet, though, only with a bit of soymilk, so I might bump up the rating when I try it again later. The creamy custard taste is definitely there, but the strawberry seems like more of an afterthought that adds a subtle sweetness.
Wow..! This was an unexpected hit! The overall effect is definitely right on – I think I like this better than the real thing (I don’t love raisins in my bread due to the texture). My favorite part is the subtle toasted flavor combined with the sweetness of the cinnamon and raisin. I can’t really taste the raisin flavor by itself, but I think it does come through in the finished effect. Love it!
