drank Passion Berry Jolt by Tiesta Tea
1118 tasting notes

It is both a curse and a blessing that the Target close to me has started carrying loose leaf teas. I’m thrilled to see Tiesta Teas on the shelf, but boy, oh, boy does it make it even more difficult to behave myself while shopping! The last time I was in there I just couldn’t resist, so into my shopping cart this went.

There is a nice balance between the fruit and the base tea. I get a nice tangy zip of raspberry and a juicy passion fruit note followed by a malty note from the tea. It works well together. I appreciate that the passion fruit doesn’t taste perfume-y or overly floral. I find that too many passion fruit teas taste like something straight from the cosmetics case, so I’m thankful that’s not the case here.

As nice as it is hot, I think it’d be even better iced. If I’m right this could be the iced passion fruit tea I’ve been looking for.

I completely understand… grocery stores have become an evil place for me, too.
;-p

Oh, I haven’t noticed any Tiesta teas at my Target. They do have a couple of Harney ones in teabags.

They just started carrying them here right before Christmas. They sell the Harney and Sibs ones as well, so I’m hoping they’ll continue to stock the Tiesta teas.

Also, I hate my autocorrect. :/

Tea obsessed since 2010.

My Rating System:

100-95 = Teas I actively seek out and keep in my pantry. If you are a guest in my home chances are I will offer you one or all of these teas. Also, if/when these teas are discontinued I openly mourn their loss.

94-85 = Teas I truly like, often have in my pantry, and sometimes restock. These are my variety-is-the-spice-of-life teas.

84-75 = They’re good teas and I enjoy drinking them on occasion.

74-65 = These teas are ok, but not really my thing.

64-55 = meh.

54-45 = I will if I have no other option.

44 and below = Coffee, please.
