This was my morning cup. This has a nice creamy egg nog flavor, and I like the amount of cinnamon that’s been added. It’s enough to give the tea a bit of brightness without overwhelming the tea. Usually I’m not a fan of black/green tea blends, but it works for this tea. I’ve never had a problem with bitterness or astringency. Really nice, and the fact that it’s a bagged tea makes it even better for those days when I’m not moving fast enough to make a cup from loose leaf.

Maybe this week’s trip to the grocery store….(crossing fingers for Bigelow Holiday display :)

Our grocery sold out of the Stash holiday teas in one week. One. Week. It happened last year. Didn’t they learn? We will buy it if they will just have it in the store! My daughter now just orders it in bulk from Stash.

I’m trying to get myself into a Thanksgiving state of mind by sipping on holiday-ish teas while working on my menu and shopping list. I added a teaspoon of honey and some cream to this tea, and I’m really liking the results. I get a definite pumpkin pie feel from this, and I like the amount of spice. There’s a good bit of cinnamon and ginger, but it is well balanced between the pumpkin flavor and the nuttiness of the rooibos.

I think I’ll be drinking quite a bit of this over the next few months. It’s totally enjoyable now, but I can’t see myself being excited about this once spring rolls around.

Having this again. Actually, this is my second time to have this today. I had this in my travel mug this morning and sipped while I visited with friends. This is a great travel mug tea. All of the flavors hold up well even when in the mug for hours. Now I have a nice ceramic mug of this tea and am happily sitting, sipping, and browsing Pinterest. I don’t even want to know the hours of time I have killed while looking at that site….

I avoid Pinterest as much as possible, though sometimes when I’m writing kids’ activities, the visuals are helpful. Facebook getting about that bad, too. This is definitely my preferred venue for wasting time online :)

I fell in love with Pinterest from the moment it was launched, but I was able to limit my time on there until we started remodeling our kitchen and living room. I feel like I have looked at every interior designer’s blog or Tumbler, and I still keep looking. It’s an addiction.

This site, on the other hand, is a joy. I love reading other people’s thoughts on tea and life. :)

I love the thickness of this tea. The deep cocoa notes and touch of smoke at the end of the sip were just what I wanted to help me wake up.

I’m a bit alarmed at how fast I’m drinking my way through the four ounces that I bought of this. I was thinking it would last me through most of the winter, but now I’m wondering if it’ll be gone by Christmas. It is insanely yummy. The cranberry and almond flavors are spot on and really, really good together.

This tea. Oh my, this tea. I love it. I’ve sampled many Nepali teas this year, and this one has been my hands down favorite. It’s delicate but intense, and there’s so much going on with the various flavors that I feel like I’ve never done a good job describing it. Can I just say that it’s awesome? I love the rose-y floral notes mixed with the toastiness. There’s a touch of something spicy (like the thought of a hint of cracked pepper), a lemon like citrus note, the fruity muscatel flavor, and the pleasantly sharp wine-like finish.

Love this one.

Glad to hear y’all enjoyed it! The first time I had this tea was about 8 years ago! It really opened my eyes to how a Nepalese tea can be similar to a Darjeeling and yet different. Someday when I open my tea shop I will devote a shelf to this great country!

I chose this because it’s quick and easy to make, but I do love the flavor. Like always, I add sugar and cream so that the tea takes on a creamsicle flavor. It’s a nice afternoon tea, and a great way to warm up on a chilly day.

My house reeks of paint fumes right now. I honestly didn’t know if I’d be able to enjoy my tea or if everything would smell/taste of the primer that’s on my cabinets and walls. Thankfully, this beauty has the strength to stand up to anything. The malt, dry hay, and raisin notes come shining through. This is just what I need to help me wake up and shake off the grumpiness that comes from staring down another full day of painting. On the plus side, my house is going to look great for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

So it’s not cold cold here yet, but the weather’s heading in that direction. It makes me want to curl up with a blanket, a huge stack of books, my cat, and endless cups of tea. If I could hibernate that’s how I’d do it. Alas, I’m forced to go out and interact with the world even when the temperature drops.

Thankfully I had this tea to get me going. The cocoa and honey-sweet notes are really heightened by the smoke. It’s soooo good, and it continues to be one of my favorite breakfast teas. I think this tea would be stellar with a big breakfast of bacon, eggs, and biscuits. It could easily hold its own next to other big flavors. I can say with certainty that it’s yummy with a bagel and cream cheese.

My mid-afternoon pick-me-up. This tea never fails to impress me. I think this might be a life long love affair.
