I prefer rooibos without all the extra flavours, so this is definitely the best I’ve tried so far. It’s so simplistic but so easy to drink, no matter what time of day it is. Apparently it tastes amazing iced, which I have no trouble believing, though I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet. Nothing fancy, just feels good to drink it!

This stuff is awesome. The dry leaves smell amazing, but the taste and scent of the infusion is nowhere near as strong, which is totally okay. This is probably the first loose leaf jasmine tea I’ve tried, so I can’t compare it to anything other than cheap teabags, but even without a comparison it’s easy to tell that this particular china jasmine is good quality. I’ve been able to get as many as three good infusions out of one scoop of leaves, which is great, because one cup never seems to be enough. And it tastes. so. good.

So I was feeling adventurous and picked up a box of Hojicha Bancha from T2. I’ve only had a few cups so far, but this stuff is good! The scent of the dry leaves was so toasty and earthy that I actually freaked out for a moment, but I’m beginning to really appreciate it. Earthy is a good thing, yeah? Water drowns out the intense aroma anyway, so you have nothing to worry about. This stuff is so wonderfully toasty and clean that I would have no trouble drinking it every day, which I’m pretty sure I’ll end up doing. It also seems to leave some kind of sweetness in the back of my throat – not sure if it’s just me, but it is really nice!
