i had a package to send to someone this afternoon and found myself needing one more tin to package a sample in. oh no, i guess i have to drink a pot of silk dragon jasmine while soaking in the tub. darnit.

this is my get the day started right tea. iced with a matcha shot poured on top it revs me up without any crash afterwards. i love it.
saskatoon berries and maple syrup are the reason i tried this tea. it being delicious is the reason i continuously reach for it over most other berry teas. i am thinking i am going to try mixing it with pineapple oolong and see what happens…

i have been reaching for this after work a lot in the last week. it’s delicious straight and with a bit of agave totally satisfies my sweet tooth.
This may be the green tea I’ve been waiting for my whole life. I was fearful it would be all cranberry and cinnamon and no tea but there is a lovely astringency to it and the green tea flavour is lovely. I don’t know if it’s the cinnamon or the mistletoe or what but this tea is just so amazingly warm and lovely. I am always pleasantly surprised by cranberries, they add such a lovely warmth and sweetness to tea.
Beautiful. I need to introduce my Partner who is a big fan of straight black tea (even store brand orange pekoe) to this lover of a tea.
buttery fruity and sweet. sadly this cup got abandonned after only a few sips and while it was good later when I sweetened it and drank it cold I don’t think I really appreciate it fully yet, so I will refrain from rating. Very excited to give it a second go
Everyone who is reading this who has access to a DAVIDs go and try this. I am not generally a straight green tea drinker but felt like something toasty and different when I stopped at work to drop my coat off being meeting my Uncle for lunch.
I added literally a drop of honey to this and fell in love the second I tried it. sadly I was busy catching up with my uncle and let the cup oversteep and cool before finishing it but this has been instantly added to my regular routine.
Sharing a nighttime cup with my bird Elton :) (everything in it is safe for, or even GOOD for him. he gets to eat the nuts and fruit after we’re done with it!)
needed a late evening pick me up (i don’t work until 2 tomorrow and I have a friend on their way over) so I brewed the perfect cup of Japanese Sencha!

i can’t decide how i feel about this!!! the first cup i had was amazing, the 2nd cup “meh” (though admitedly underleafed) and now I think I like this one, but I want it to burn more!!!!
Had this both hot and very very cold (but not iced) this afternoon. I had previously only ever tried it hot and was pleasantly surprised with the sweetness of it as it cooled.
stuck with pepperminty as I moved to black tea this morning. This was good, but I found myself missing the chocolate notes of read my lips. Which now that I think about I haven’t had in a while (have that tomorrow)
I don’t remember a lot about this tea because it was about medicine not taste, but… I got to work this morning feeling like I was absolutely about to hurl. I got to work, brewed a very strong cuppa this and within 15 minutes I was fine. And stayed that way for like 5 hours. And now my tummy ache has returned and I wish I had bought some to take home.
I think this is going to become a constant in my cupboard. still loving it. It would be amazing iced and sweetened with some milk too!
Ooops accidentally waaay oversteeped this and was expecting gross bitterness and a ruined pot. It was more drying than usual but the mango was lucious
Ahhhhhhh this is like those buttered rum lifesavers I loved as a kid, delicious. So glad I got this on a whim.
Spending a cozy night in with my loves with a pot of this all to my myself :)
I had been craving something like bagged orange pekoe but with a bit cleaner flavour (I often find bagged teas a bit “muddy”) I tried this one from my conisseur collection and it was perfect! Going to be rebuying a little bit for those days when I just want something familiar from my childhood.

om nom nom nom rich buttery cookie dough while still feeling light. This will really hit the spot when I’m craving a dessert tea that isn’t as heavy or rich as say Red Velvet Cake or Creme Caramel
