This actually turned out to be a very tasty night time tea. Very soothing and relaxing after a very long day. It has a really nice peppermint taste to it too.

Thanks to Tea-Licious for this sample. Can’t get on their website to look up what this tea description is. But I can tell you it is very minty! Co-worker smelled in from down the hall! The chocolate flavor was missing at first but that is the flavor I’m left with after each sip…really tasty! Wish I had more!
Ok so I thought I’d give this a go. After all I like those milk chocolate orange ball things (you know the chocolate you need to slam into a wall to break open). This tastes a bit like that. But I think I added in a little too much of the Wild Orange Blossom this time around. But still tasty. This blend is clearly a work in progress.
Bought this as part of a day, afternoon, and evening trilogy pack. First time trying it. There is a funny taste to it and I think it’s the hint of licorice that is tasting a little funny to me. But as long as it does the trick of letting me get to sleep and stay that way I’m on board.
Trying this for the first time this morning after many tummy troubles this weekend. It smelled pretty good while infusing. Right now the smell before I sip makes me not want to at all. I’m not sure what that smell is….just something not getting on well with my nose. However, that aside the taste is pretty darn yummy and the rating naturally is based on that. It’s very smooth and I really hope this does the trick. Has anyone ever tried this iced? I imagine that would be pretty good.
I have never been a fan of licorice root. BUT I’m not really tasting that in this tea. What I am tasting is some really good tea. I can really taste the peach aspect of this tea and that’s making me really happy on this sunny, yet chilly afternoon in Upstate, NY. It smells pretty peachy/general green tea to me and that too is making me wish it were a little cooler to drink it right down.
Holy mocha aroma Batman…just the smell of this mate tea woke me up! The first taste was a touch on the bitter side so I added a touch more sugar and a little half and half (took me back to my coffee drinking days). The taste is very much cocoa and mocha. I’m not really getting the vanilla flavor while drinking. That vanilla flavor seems to be what I’m left with after….not bad. I might try mixing this up with the Wild Orange Blossom herbal from Teavana and see what that’s like.
BIG citrus aroma coming through as this tea steeps…even my husband liked the smell! There is a beautiful orange color to the tea when it’s ready to drink. The flavor/taste is very much citrus, but I like it.
So the tea is supposed to be an “intense combination of spices and mint”. I’m only tasting the mint flavor with a slight hint of spices. But this is still a really yummy tea for after lunch. It smells wonderful too always a plus!
I needed something to get me moving this morning after getting up at 3:30am to watch the Royal Wedding (yes I’m one of those girls). This is a really nice blend of several different black teas. I’ll post a better review over on my teatra blog this afternoon/evening. But I will say it is yummy!
This is really tastes more like mint and very unlike the great chocolate smell I got when I first opened the container. But all in all I really like it! For more please read: http://wifeywoman.teatra.de/
This is another sample I received from KeenTeaThyme (KiTT) and it is super yummy! I could really smell the syrup as the tea infused. The taste is pretty out of this world. I can taste the pancake and syrup and it is pretty fantastic! Nothing quit like drinking breakfast.
Trying this iced today as we seem to me in a bit of a heat wave here in the northeast. Very tasty and very berry too. More berry flavor coming through when iced as is the tart flavor, but it is super delish and I highly suggest trying it.
Currently enjoying a cup of this to hopefully keep me awake for the last hour of work. (The weather here has been nothing but RAIN for the last few day.) It is a very strong peppermint flavor that stays with you even after the final sip. I like it a lot and it seems to be the perfect afternoon tea. (Also of note this was bought before the recall…so no worries there)
At first the smell is a bit off a turn off. Ok to be honest it’s a REAL turn off. However, the taste (to me) is amazing! The addition of the peppermint to the chocolaty flavor of the Mate punches up the flavor just enough to make this an awesome start to my rainy Monday. It also makes me wish it would cool down just a bit so I could drink it faster!
Another sample from KeenTeaThyme (KiTT), tried this with my dessert after Easter dinner yesterday and it was ok. The taste was great….the apricot flavor and aroma was there, but there was something missing here for me. I don’t think there was that spice taste that I’m used to with most Chai teas. In fact I couldn’t really taste it at all. Oh well.
Drinking this again this evening (morning). I had treated myself to my first coffee after giving it up for Lent. Needless to say I’ve now found coffee is overrated. So I needed to wash the coffee taste out of my mouth.
So I went for one of my fav. berry teas to enjoy. I love the berry flavor and the soothing feeling it brings.
Received this from @KeenTeaThyme(KiTT) and wow the aroma is very spice filled. I like my Chai’s with some kick! I love the cardamon I’m tasting as well as the pepper. I’m not getting much of a cinnamon taste…which is a little bit of a downer. In the past I would always add milk and sweetener to my Chai’s, but not needed with this one at all! Yum is the word here.
Still one of my “go to” teas, usually when I am at work. See previous tasting notes.
Ok I can taste the blueberry flavor….but it isn’t as tart as I thought it would be. I can’t even taste the green Rooibos. But I must say it is helping me get through this afternoon (that is dragggging).
Needed a little kick to get my morning going after being sick for the last two days. It doesn’t give you a huge kick, but enough to get you into gear.
Drank this last night around 11pm (oddly enough slept like a baby after). Not as chocolaty as I thought it would be with a name like Chocolate Chai. I could smell the cinnamon spice and that was the taste the carried through from first to last drop. It wasn’t bad, but it was also nothing to write home about.
Enjoying another cup this morning. Hoping the mint taste I enjoyed last time will help ease the stomach trouble I’ve been “enjoying” all weekend. I again love the aroma of this tea before, during, and after infusion. Now to sit back and relax.
Major citrus aroma coming through as it steeps. The taste is simply WOW. The blood orange is really coming through as is the white tangerine….soooo good (I may be drooling). Honestly I can’t really taste the lemongrass which is shocking since it had such a strong smell prior to the infusion. I’m usually not a fan of citrus teas, but this I like and that is saying something.
