I always find black/green blends a bit tough to describe. The jasmine and bergamot both stand out, though I really don’t get any vanilla. It’s good, but not great, likely because I’m not the biggest fan of bergamot.

Putting this one in the give away box. I have so much caffeinated hot tea to get through, and this is good enough that I’m positive one of my friends will enjoy it. I pretty much keep them stocked with my castoffs! I like the job, my way of paying it forward.

This was pleasant enough but not really remarkable to me, particularly not after playing with golden orchid, Cocoa amore, and port. Those are a different type of tea of course but they are so rich and deep. This just didn’t give off the same strength. I think I might need to use far more leaf than I normally would to really enjoy it.

It is warm and spicy and fruity. I like all of those things. But I’m thinking it is an easy enough thing to find, which is why this one just doesn’t stand out to me.

There’s chicory in there for depth, but it sinks. Give it a shake next time and see if that changes anything :-)

Oh thanks so much for the tip! I will be making some tonight…I will try that before being super leaf heavy.

No worries :) You can also steep as long as you’d like, I find that the sweetness of the elderberries offsets any potential bitterness :)

Super lame! I’ve been fairly impressed with Wegmans loose tea so far but this stuff is practically flavorless. Super slight wisp of scent of flowers if I shove my face so far down the mug I risk drowning, and the weakest green tea base I’ve ever experienced.

I won’t even give this away. Glad I just got a couple dollars worth. Hope the trash appreciates it.

I enjoyed drinking this- it is hearty and a bit sweet, but to me lacks the sparkling quality of champagne. I think it would have been more present in a lighter base tea but I enjoyed this nonetheless.

This is SO delicious. Oh man it is so good. Just what I needed to perk me up after a pretty crappy couple days. If you like cantaloupe and cream you will love this. Heck, I think it tastes as juicy and smells more fragrant than the typical watermelon.

Toasty and roasty and delicious. I am SO glad to have found a good teabag option for when I am dog sitting. These have the bonus of being individually wrapped, which I normally would find to be wasteful but make them perfect for my purse tea stash (yes I carry about 10 higher quality teabags in my purse for tea emergencies) or travel.

Writing this on my phone because my computer is broken, the charger port is loose and I am waiting in fear for the repair man to get back to me to tell me how much it will be to fix and how long it will take.

Anlina

I hope your computer gets repaired for a reasonable price. I had a loose charging port on an old laptop and I think I just ended up duct taping the cord in place :P

Leah Naomi

I totally would have done that if I could get it to connect to charge at all!

This is good, very hazelnutty, but I can’t say I get a strong cookie flavor from it. It lacks sweetness, and is low on creaminess. I imagine if I add some sugar and milk that would help, but I was hoping for just a little more from the tea itself.

This is SUPER blueberry-y…like seriously. This is going to be phenomenal iced. It is mostly sweet blueberry but there is a little hint of tart and it is SO much nicer than the chai I tried from this brand last week, I am shocked. I am also going to try cold steeping it.

Unremarkable but very tasty. I think this will be much better for me iced – the blueberry is present, but not overwhelming, and the green tea is flavorful and not at all bitter.

This was basically jasmine green tea with a slight fruity edge and a slightly spicy end note. I like jasmine green teas, so this worked for me. And I don’t like ginger, so it worked out that it wasn’t very gingery. Not the most remarkable blend, but certainly tasty if you like jasmine.

Now a certified teacher, beginning my first year in third grade this fall. I have been involved in the tea world about 5 years now. In that time, I have learned so much, and am hoping to learn even more by joining the steepster community.

In my non-tea times, I am usually watching netflix while writing lesson plans, cuddling my two kitties, or trying to find new things to do in a town that is sometimes a bit limited!
