I drank this last night – I love having a caffeine free chai option. I am drinking this in the summer, but it is a winter staple. This version is really good – I like it best with a bit of sweetened almond milk for a desserty treat.

I made a cup of this after listening to the man upstairs beat up his gf for the thousandth time, after I called 911 for the thousandth time. I really needed something comforting, and this did the trick. It really just tasted like a milder version of the chai I am used to (black tea based), with less cinnamon and more natural sweetness. I liked it, particularly for a summer evening, but normally I prefer to essentially be swept away by cinnamon overload.

I am a huge chai fan, and this one was pretty good. It is smokier than most of the others I lean toward, and has the added layer of anise. However, I am not a huge liquorice fan. If you are, this one will be right up your alley.

Holy crap, that is super duper spicy – I am a fan of spicy food. That said, I am not sure I like my tea QUITE this spicy, although kudos for such a uniquely intense tea being available. I actually think I would be more likely to use this in cooking, to perhaps give some kick to anything that would normally require water. Other than that, I find it too spicy to really taste anything else. I think if it were a hair less spicy, other flavors could come through and I could really appreciate this.

This was a very interesting, tasty cup. It was malty and sweet, and once I read other reviews that described a raisin-y flavor, that made total sense. I steeped it a few times and it was great each time.

This was pretty good – it was definitely lemony with a hint of ginger. I don’t like ginger much except as an accent, so I was glad for that. I liked it hot and iced, but I thought it was better iced.

This one smelled SWEET dry and for the first steep, was just as sweet. It was very fruity but smooth. I steeped it once more, and it was a lot more floral, which was interesting. The strength was about the same each steep, and I imagine if I had enough hours in the day I could get a few more out of this no problem. I definitely recommend it.

This was a really awesome tea drinking experience. I got this sample and saw the date picked and realized it is almost certainly the freshest tea I have ever had. There is just something SO cool about that. But, other than novelty, this was delicious. I am not particularly good at describing detailed flavor nuances, but to me it was a bit sweet and very fruity, but still having the hearty black tea taste. I steeped it twice, and it was a bit less sweet on second steep, but still very flavorful. I often have issues with black teas and bitterness so I kept this one at 200 degrees.

That’s funny, I’m drinking this exact one right now!

Another iced tea win!! I hot brewed this one, and I normally cold brew my fruity black teas for iced tea, but I am realizing that is only something I really have to do when the black base kind of blows. I love Adagio, it is very accessible and affordable and they have a great rewards program, but the black base for iced tea leaves a bit to be desired.

Not so here. The black tea flavor is delicious and present, but the watermelon flavor balances out well. It isn’t too strong which is good because it doesn’t taste too artificial. So far, two for two with this brand’s iced options.

This is pretty tasty – it smells and tastes very smooth and sweet, as the name would suggest. It gets a bit more floral for me in the third steep and beyond, and I got tired of resteeping after 5, so I can’t say how long this one would last. I have tried a few milk oolongs now and I enjoy them.

Now a certified teacher, beginning my first year in third grade this fall. I have been involved in the tea world about 5 years now. In that time, I have learned so much, and am hoping to learn even more by joining the steepster community.

In my non-tea times, I am usually watching netflix while writing lesson plans, cuddling my two kitties, or trying to find new things to do in a town that is sometimes a bit limited!
