drank Citrus Lavender Sage by Teavana
74 tasting notes

I like this one. Normally it’s one that I would choose to make iced during the summer months, but today I’m drinking it hot. I even blended it with a bit of straight guayusa to give me the kick in the pants I need to study. I think I’ll need more than one cup, though. It’s one of those days.

I find this tea pleasantly fruity without being overwhelmingly tart. A lot of citrus herbal teas throw in a bunch of hibiscus to add a kick, but this one seems gentle in comparison. It has just the right amount of lavender to balance the fruit. It’s also beautiful to look at. I only have a bit more of this leaf, and it’s one I’ll miss when it’s gone. Oh well. Plenty of other teas to finish before the Big Move in April.

Bio

Tea enthusiast still figuring out this Steepster thing. My collection is ever-growing.

I almost always like: Vanilla, chai, caramel, berries, lemon, hibiscus, jasmine, cinnamon, ginger, earl grey, peach, lavender.

I rarely like: Mint, chamomile, rice (not a genmaicha fan), licorice, nuts, milk, artificial sweeteners.

When it comes to straight teas, I’ve liked basically everything – black, green, white, rooibos, mate, guayusa, oolong, pu-erh and yellow teas are what I have explored so far.
