I am in love. It’s because of this tea that I’m beginning to enjoy peppermint teas in general. For me, the sweetness of the candy cane sprinkles offset the chill of the mint in a way that reminds me of a peppermint mocha (without the calories or milk-induced stomach ache). And what could be more fun this year than a tea filled with tiny candy canes?

Despite the mixed reviews, this has to be one of my favourite teas of all time. It’s soothing and sweet in a way that helps me deal with my never-ending chocolate cravings (something I’m trying to avoid due to allergies). I was sad that this was a limited edition, but managed to stock up just before it disappeared forever.

It’s good enough but nothing super special. I enjoyed looking at this tea while it infused in my glass teapot, but the taste is a bit on the bland side. Not BAD, but nothing to write home about. Standard floral-ish black tea with a tiny hint of peach. While I’m perfectly happy to finish the pot of this, I’ve had better peach teas and better black teas.

First tasting note! I’ve been reading so much on this site lately that I thought it was finally time to make an account.

I got this one as day 17 of my David’s Tea advent calendar, and it came at the right time. My stomach is feeling just awful after eating way too much junk food last night. It was nice to have something that wasn’t sweet or caffeinated. I’m not usually a huge mint fan, but it was appropriate for this morning. As others have noted, the mint is quite strong, so I’d only recommend it to people who really enjoy the slight burn.

I don’t mind this one. It’s not a favourite that I’d go out and buy more of, but it was perfectly enjoyable.

Bio

Tea enthusiast still figuring out this Steepster thing. My collection is ever-growing.

I almost always like: Vanilla, chai, caramel, berries, lemon, hibiscus, jasmine, cinnamon, ginger, earl grey, peach, lavender.

I rarely like: Mint, chamomile, rice (not a genmaicha fan), licorice, nuts, milk, artificial sweeteners.

When it comes to straight teas, I’ve liked basically everything – black, green, white, rooibos, mate, guayusa, oolong, pu-erh and yellow teas are what I have explored so far.
