While going through the fall collection in stores I fell in love with the way this one smelled in the tea. Unfortunately once brewed it didn’t live up to my expectations. I’m going to try messing around with brew times and see if it’s any better iced, but this is definitely a disappointing brew. It’s way too tart and almost taste as though I’m drinking a fall candle. I really wanted to like this one, but it’s just not doing anything for me.

Oh, Pumpkin Chai, how I love you. I picked up a new tin for the season at my local David’s last night and I’m currently drinking my first cup. I love pulling this one out every year for the perfect fall treat. The cinnamon and clove notes are a little stronger than I remember, but not to the point of being overpowering. Currently enjoying this cup in the new ‘Spooky Colour Changing Perfect Mug’ from David’s. Feeling very festive today!

Tried this one just by itself at first without any sweetener and was a little overwhelmed by the coconut. Definitely not much of a lavender taste at first, but as the brew cooled I was able to taste it more and more over the coconut. I really enjoyed it as is, but wasn’t completely in love like I thought I would be.
For my second cup I added a touch of lavender honey that I found in Boston and that made it for me. I really enjoy this tea and will probably buy a tin once I finish my sample.

I was introduced to this tea by my close friends after being invited to try the high tea service at Disney’s Grand Floridian. Our afternoon tea experience was just lovely, especially since we were one of the few groups enjoying the tea room that day. My friend couldn’t stop raving about the Princess Breakfast tea the entire drive out to Orlando, so I knew I had to try it to see what all the hype was about.
I was hooked after my first sip! I liked the subtle sweetness to the tea, although I don’t really come up with the strawberry flavor the tasting notes mention. It’s very smooth and the scent alone is to die for.
A few months later I took the resort monorail back to the Grand Floridian with the sole intention of picking up some of the tea to add to my stash. Now I can have my little cup of heaven and some Disney nostalgia anytime without a trip to Orlando. Definitely one of the most expensive teas I own, but it’s a nice treat every now and then.

Thank you so much for your kind words, we’re really glad to hear that you liked it! We do offer this blend for sale on our website at www.tealeaves.com, for when you need to replenish your stash: http://www.tealeaves.com/disney. (The larger tin offers a better deal – about $0.36 for a cup of tea!)
