I just discovered Kundalini yoga a little while ago and it is changing my life, my lower back pain is getting much better and I feel more energized overall. I suggest giving it a try!

This is my post yoga darjeeling tea. I bought a few samples from Upton to try this year.

I tend to use water that is below boiling for my ff darjeelings because I find this helps to curb any astringency which might be lurking about. I used 2 tsp of tea in my beehouse teapot and I think this is really divine!

The color is a light yellow and the grape aroma is just wafting out of my glass cup. This really packs a flavor punch, is slightly floral but has lots of sweet grape flavor with a minerality essence and a slight astringent finish. I’m not getting a lot of pungency but that could be because of the lower water temperature I was using.

I’d consider buying more of this but I feel guilty about the 2012 FF darjeelings which are still in my cupboard and may never be finished before they go stale… :(

I would recommend checking this out if you’re in the market for a nice darjeeling.

I will check it out! My lower back has been hurting horribly lately, and getting up and doing yoga is the only thing that makes it subside. It hurts worst when I get up in the mornings.

My back seems to get worse in the evenings after sitting all day in front of a stupid computer at work. grrrr!

Thanks, I will also check it out. I suffered a severe lumbar sprain 5years ago, shovelling after a huge snowstorm. Even with lots of physical training, my back never fully recovered, I still get pain. I recently bought a Pilates reformer, it’s the only thing that has really helped so far.

understand you very well girls, I have a severe sciatica since january and see now a physiotherapist 2 hours per week.hopefully we have tea :)

I’ve been doing Vinyasa since April, and I really love it. I love yoga can be energizing or calming, depending on how you do it.

I am a fan of many different teas but my favorites are blacks and oolongs, chai, also like darjeeling and pu-erh. I’n always learning and expanding my horizons!

Dislikes include: bergamot, jasmine, highly tannic or bitter teas, overly judgmental and bitter people. :)

Live in San Francisco, I’m a SINK (single income, no kids) and love the urban life, but traveling out to the middle of nowhere is always fun too.

I tend to not drink things I know I will hate so a lot of my tea ratings are on the higher side. Here’s my rating system, sorta

95-100 I love this tea and would like to keep it around

94-90 An excellent tea which I may or may not repurchase

89-80 Pretty good, above average

79-70 Acceptable

69-60 Mundane – Will probably drink it if I have it

59-50 Ick

49 and below Nasty
