If I was a better tea drinker I would be drinking more of the good stuff that I love every day and saving the crappy stuff for an emergency, but somehow I haven’t been doing that! I’ve had this darjeeling since mid-2012 and here it is almost 2014… I feel that I should drink more of my current darjeeling stash before buying any more so I need to make an effort here. Fortunately this won’t be a hardship. ;-)
I was worried it was losing some of its flavor, but this still seems really good to me with loads of tropical fruit and floral essences. See previous notes if interested.

Glad to see the tea holds up. I feel guilty when I’ve had a tea for more than a year.
I’ve had plenty of teas for longer than a year and they seem fine, the ones that seem to go stale quickly are green oolongs & green teas especially senchas
Matcha seems to go stale the fastest in my experience.
