4 Tasting Notes

Gingerbread Spice from Celestial Seasonings

Bleah. Maybe I just don’t like the undertone of barley. I do not want to throw this out so I added cream and honey and it was actually drinkable. However, I will not buy this one again.

Blueberry Breeze Green Tea from Celestial Seasonings

This is an excellent tea. While the blueberry is more strong in scent than flavor, I am pleased that the smooth green taste that I drink tea for is not disguised. I love this tea, just smelling it makes me cheerful.

Sweet Apple Chamomile from Celestial Seasonings

This is an excellent tea. The apple flavor makes the chamomile more interesting while remaining subtle. I love to drink this before bed and definitely, it is one of my tea-must keeps.

Eggnogg'n Tea from Bigelow

This is one of those holiday teas I found in a little mart after Christmas. Even though it sounded a little strange to me I was very pleased with the sweet, smell and dark, frothy brew. It contains both black and green tea, and surprisingly they did not mask it with the thick, vanilla flavor that is typically done to holiday teas. Overall this is a pleasant tea that I imagine would taste even better with a touch of milk on a snowy day.

Tea is best with a good book and cat on the lap during a stolen moment.
Every tea bag promises a minute to get away from the hype and absorb the heat, energy or calm it withholds.
I begin and end every day with this healthy ritual. I never stick with one kind any more than I would stick with one mood.
If tea is my vice, so be it.
