4 Tasting Notes

Just purchased this herbal blend this weekend. As a BIG fan of pineapple, I knew this was going to be a hit for me. After reading earlier reviews I did brew this blend very strong- 2-2.5 tsp and that seemed to give me some good flavor notes. I found this blend to be very fruity and sweet. Pineapple was the main scent. A little weak at first but a dollop of sugar seemed to bring it out a bit more. Then there is an ever so slight appley taste. More like an after-taste really…

I’ll need to mix it with a white tea in the future to see how well it blends. Not sure if I would repurchase yet but I will be brewing it again.

This is my first Kusmi tea and I am fairly impressed. The black tea base is smooth and not at all bitter. The smell is overwhelmingly delicious. I decided to add some sugar (because I like my tea sweeeet) and that seem to take away a lot of the fruitiness of the tea :( Oh well, that’s my own fault. I’ll have to try it again without as much sugar next time so I can give a more accurate tasting note but for now, it is still quite yummy!

This thing is delicious! Definitely one of my new favorites. It’s spicy and chocolatey, and sweet. Hopefully the high caffeine content will keep me awake for this long day :)

Used 1.5 tsp, steeped for around 6 mins, and added a little milk and sugar. It’s perfection. Better than coffee, and better than hot chocolate. Need to remember to try it with hotter water next time…

steeped about 2 teaspoons worth. Still not very strong but quite tasty nonetheless… Added milk and sugar, as I tend to do with all chais :)

Over all, this is pretty tasty. The lemongrass really makes this chai stand apart. I’m not sure I would order more when I’m done with my little sample bag.

I am a new tea lover! I have been trying to kick the coffee habit for a while but needed some sort of replacement. I was never too fond of tea before but after a friend introduced me to loose tea, I was hooked! The flavors are so much bolder and exciting. Now I’m trying to learn more about quality teas and what sort of things I like. I figured this place would be a good way to keep track of what works and what doesn’t. We must go deeper!
