Moroccan Mint from Teavana

This tea from my cupboard came in last today in my four way Moroccan Mint face off.

The gunpowder base is harsher, the mint lighter. It may be more authentic since in Morocco they really do boil the tea until bitter, but for my money I will take the Tin Roof Teas version, please!

I recently tried Butikis and loved it (I like to make my own fresh though!)

My mint plants are now thriving, I’ll have to get some gunpowder green tea and make up my own Moroccan Mint. :)

As soon as I get a good space cleared in the garden, I want to plant spearmint! I have a little chocolate mint and used to have peppermint years ago, but it died out. I also want Corsican mint when I can get back down to SC where they sell it!

I find this to be really sweet if I steep it around 140!

Thanks, Michelle! I will give that a try. I was planning to try icing it but if I can make it more palatable hot I would probably be happier with it!

Yeah, the first time I did it I didn’t know anything about greens… so I did 212/3 minutes and, well… it was AWFUL. But 140-150 for about a minute seems to be perfect for me!
