I had Jacqueline’s breakfast today! My first bagel in 31 years since I tried them when I was really young and went “bleh.” I could eat this! I mean I could eat this regularly! A Panera bread opened here just a few days ago so I bought an everything bagel for myself and a Cinnamon Crunch for hubby. We had it for breakfast with Golden Monkey That Tastes Like Panyang Congou and Goes Really Well With An Everything Bagel. It does, it does!

I resteeped the leaves skeptically, because there are not that many black teas that are strong enough for me on the rebrew. This one does it nicely, though. There is still plenty of flavor to keep me interested in my cup. First steep was 4 minutes, second was 4 1/2.

I am a music teacher and homeschooling mom who started drinking loose leaf tea about five years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too.
