drank White Christmas by Harney & Sons
1817 tasting notes

I bought this for my daughter to try and we shared a pot this afternoon. I was very careful about temperature and time. There is no bitterness, but also…I can’t say this is rocking my world. I would much prefer a white tea from Teavivre to this. There isn’t a lot of flavor here, and I would put it down to my own error but I was extra careful with all parameters since that daughter is new to tea and I don’t want her to get a false impression of any of the teas she agrees to try.

She drank it, shrugged and said, “It is tea.”. She drank two cups but wasn’t impressed. Maybe it just isn’t our thing.

Bio

I am a music teacher and homeschooling mom who started drinking loose leaf tea about four years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
