drank Queen Catherine by Harney & Sons
3226 tasting notes

Went to bed with a backache. Had nightmares about my back. Woke up with a backache. Have to iron and then make filled cupcakes because all the kids are coming and you know how much college kids eat. And this is my fault for participating in the DOCTOR WHO MARATHON! for Tom Baker’s 78th birthday yesterday, staying up too late the last several nights and sitting, sitting, sitting on the back-eating couch.

Who do I always turn to at such a time? The Queen! And I must say she did not let me down. The first sip was instantly soothing and bolstering at once. No additions, unless you count JJ Heller radio on Pandora. (Thank you, GGMathis! The girls and I have been loving it! Great station.)

It is going to be a good day.

I raise my Dr. Who mug in your honor. (Sorry, at the moment it has hot chocolate with marshmallow creme in it. Sometimes you just need a little change of pace.)

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fourteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
