I started looking for a green and black blend after realizing how much I like the flavor combination in Tazo Joy tea. My sister ordered me several options from Murchies & this is the first I’ve tried. I’m still playing around to find my optimal steeping time, but I really love it so far. It has the deep richness I love in black tea with the more floral, fragrant notes I associate with green tea.
I ordered this on a whim as part of my first David’s Tea order. I don’t care much for the dessert nor have I ever had a chocolate tea that I’ve liked, but I’ve heard such good things about David’s dessert teas that it sounded fun to try. And I LOVE IT! It really is satisfying in lieu of dessert. Subtly sweet & creamy and great flavor, I will probably order another bag and try some more of David’s dessert teas.
Oh wow. This tea is great! A great balance of apple & spice against the earthy green tea. I wish this tea was made all year long!
I received this as a sample in my order & thought this tea was ok. It’s definitely drinkable but more floral than I like for my tea. I don’t think the apple flavor is nearly as noticeable as in their Mom’s Apple Pie (which I like a LOT better.)
This is a very nice tea. It does have a fruity, caramel taste behind the nice black tea. However, I found it a little underwhelming as compared to the rest of the David’s Teas I’ve tried. I probably won’t order more, but I will enjoy
This really does smell and taste like banana bread! I’m not sure I love banana bread tea, but it’s pretty amazing how they captured the flavors without that weird artificial banana flavor.
I love this tea! I love the Pumpkin Pie tea from Premium Steap in Philadelphia & this one tastes just like it! The spices aren’t overpowering but nicely balanced (i.e. it’s not just cinnamon). The pumpkin flavoring comes through, giving the tea a full, rich creaminess. & most importantly, it doesn’t taste fake. It’s good black or with milk and/or sugar. One of my favorites!
I received this as a sample with my order. I didn’t care for the tart flavor common in many fruit and hibiscus teas, but if you like those tea varieties, the strawberry flavor in this tea does taste real as opposed to that “fake fruit” flavor. I will say it really did smell lovely. I don’t care for sugar in my teas, but adding a little sweetener here did help counteract the tartness.
Love this tea! It has wonderful buttered rum aroma and the taste is equally delicious. The black tea taste comes through nicely and it well complimented by the extra flavor.
Strong cinnamon flavor kind of like Red Hots candy, though not quite as overpowering like I expected. Didn’t find the black tea flavor to come through much at all. It’s quite sweet without any additional sweetener.
