This stuff is the BOMB but my husband does not like it – oh well more for me! LOL
Its just like a barley genmaicha!
SO GOOD!

TeaBrat

I could not get into this. I should send you mine… ;-)

Kittenna

Oh! I would so like to try this if you have enough to pass along, Azzrian!

Azzrian

Sure thang lovely lady! Send me an updated list when you get time if you have others you want me to send!

Azzrian

Amy if you want you could pass yours onto Krystaleyn and if she does not like it she can send to me. We tend to swap a lot anyway. Thanks for the offer!!! :)

Sandy Stith

This sounds yummy!

Kittenna

Haha, I haven’t been keeping track! I’ll have to write it all down :)

Azzrian

Amy it looks like you have a couple takers :)
Sandy it really IS yummy – earthy and so much like a roasted Genmaicha!

Azzrian

Krystaleyn LOL I know what ya mean – I am sure that we will talk before I send another box :)

TeaBrat

Krystalen – I definetely have a few I can send you – PM me your address. :)

If you haven’t, try this cold brewed. Stick the tea bag in a pitcher for at least a few hours or overnight. Cold brewed barley tea, in my opinion, is even better than hot. Perhaps even your husband would like it better?

Dylan Oxford

I saw a bunch of this at one of the Asian markets we were at last week, and was a little intrigued, a little mortified. Now that I know you think it tastes good…

Shinobi_cha

Hot, it is very similar to coffee in flavor… cold it is almost like the sweetness of ale, without any of the aspects of beer (I guess the alcohol). In Korea, they pretty much drink it like water. Try it!

Azzrian

Oh it was cold Shinobi I got them specifically for that. I think it is just too rich for hubby he likes the lighter teas.
Dylan lol that cracked me up I was not sure if that was a positive or negative lol

Dylan Oxford

Haha, positive.

Most of my reviews will be “snippits” of full reviews that can be found at http://sororiteasisters.com/
Posted every evening at 6 EST.
I usually try to post the exact date that the full reviews will post however sometimes post dates need changed so it may not always be correct. Generally the dates are correct however.

About Me:

Most of my reviews, although not all, will be quite favorable of the tea. This is not because all tea is excellent, but more so because I generally will not waste my time on an inferior tea. If I do not care for a tea I won’t continue to drink it let alone spend time reviewing it. If you see a review by me you basically know it is a quality tea. Granted it may not suit your specific taste buds, we all like different things, but as for a tea on the whole it is a good one, from a good company.

I am a spiritual advisor by profession.
I have two “young adult” children.
Four cats and three dogs.

Some of my hobbies include gardening, essential oil therapy, natural perfumery with essential oils, and cooking.

I look for complexity overall in any tea, dimensions to the flavors.

I believe tea should evoke a feeling, thought, emotion, or attitude.

I enjoy most all oolongs, blacks, whites, and greens.

I always love to try a good yellow tea.

I favor unadulterated teas but I do have my longings for a good flavored tea now and then so I don’t rule them out by any means!

I enjoy green rooibos don not like red rooibos.
