got this one as a gift some time ago, decided now’s time to try. i figured, Twinings, Earl Grey and all, this is got to be good, right? opened the bag, it all smelled like regular Earl Grey, but when i poured boiling water to it… oooh, now that was a brilliant moment. all the nuances of the bergamot and the orange came forth in one smell, mixed in a perfect breath. i instantly knew this one’s gonna be a gooood day. :)
wow, i call that a sweet tea. maybe even a bit too sweet
i bought some leaf tea a couple of years ago at this place. this one among them. i drank a lot of them and i remember really liking it. now i opened the can just to find out some leaf remained at the bottom. it was quite time to take them to the cup.
now on this cosy afternoon there was no question whether i’m gonna like this one. and still it surprised me. i think this is just as close to perfection as a fruit tea can get. it’s really smooth, kinda flossy – it is one of those you ever dream about having at the fireplace (hence the Hungarian name “Fire in the hearth”). the almond was a really good ideo btw, it truly fits in
man i just found the perfect balance of honey and lemon for my mood. so very chill :D
posset with honey. really spicy, very seasonal, makes you remember all the good winter evenings.
some punsch flavour with cinnamon (which i missed though, it should be stronger in my opinion), to savour with orange if possible. kinda sad i didn’t find any so i had to stick with honey and nothing else. was really good still. note to self: i shell try it with orange once
fruit tea with honey and lemon this time. not my favourite, bit too sour for my taste. than again, this one have been in my collection for years now, it has possibly lost its flavour on the wait. i was actually surprised when i read it should have some vanilla in it. so i think that’s what happened. too bad.
first cup today. good choice for morning tea as far as i’m concerned, with sugar and cream, which doesn’t seem to go well with it, hence the low points. next time without the cream i guess. it still is a good mix of black teas. just keep it warm please
My last tea tonight, with a little less leaf to make it charming and some sugar to enhance the brilliance of its taste. This is truly the king of all teas. Never had better. Heck, call me traditional but every time I think about tea, a cup of the good old Twinings Earl Grey is what pops into my mind. It’s perfection itself. No doubt.
lotsa honey and lemon, this is one of the bests from Milford
when they said it has “fruity taste”, they meant it. really. it’s good. this one’s definitelly recommended.
one cup full of fruits, maybe a little herb too; perfect for automn afternoon.
strawberry with just the fine little amount of honey this time… one can definitely feel the vanilla. nice
Got up today. The usual blurry wet October morning. It called for a nice mug of Sweet Orange to start off my day. I just put on a warm sweeter and grabbed some honey and lemon to embrace all of today’s wonders – this day is gonna be nothing if not enjoyable.
