14 Tasting Notes
This is my daily cup o’ tea. I place six pearls in the bottom of my cup fill with hot water and enjoy. I can re-steep the tea two more times. This keeps me from being a caffeine-fiend at work as the amount of flavour from the tea decreases after each cup. Cleaning up is very easy as the leaves quickly dry out and can be easily removed from the cup with little ick factor.
I adore this type of tea and the Tao of Tea has a very good supply of jasmine pearls. The jasmine flavour is a highlight rather than the dominate flavour. I’ve previously encountered jasmine pearls where the floral flavour becomes overpowering and cloying.
