I have to say that I really like this tea. I’m not a coffee drinker, but this tea makes me feel like I can hold my head up high at work admidst the throngs of coffee drinkers and feel like I know something awesome that they don’t! This tea really delivers the best of both worlds.
My favourite thing about this tea is that it gives you the best things about chocolate and coffee, while not overpowering the best thing about pu’erh. The flavour is earthy, rich, slightly sweet and you should be able to steep it two or three times without losing much of what makes it so good! I like to add milk and sugar to the first steep and I leave it black for the second.
Honestly, there’s something about having this tea in my travel mug that makes me feel like Mary Tyler Moore when I leave for work in the morning. Optimistic and happy!
