This is a REALLY good genmai cha, very toasty and rich. I really enjoy the varieties that also have popped corn in them, but this was very tasty. The gyokuro is the perfect, clean pairing for the toasted rice… really good quality genmai cha. Since this is a more “savory” tea, it wouldn’t be good to drink iced, in my opinion. Definitely sticking with drinking it hot.
