Morning wake call!!!
Backlogging 7/3:
I had this with dinner tonight. Flatbread pizza with locally grown spinach, red onions, feta cheese, peppericionis, and mozzarella. The tea was as awesome as the pizza! Flavorful and bold and delicious! I love this place and they don’t give me a funny look when I say I want my iced tea unsweetened – always a plus – haha.

I was really craving this tea last night but didn’t have it because of the caffiene, so I had it first thing in the morning instead. Yum Yum Yum! It is so cinnamon-y and creamy and sweet without any additives! Its awesome!
Backlogging 7/2:
Had this with a cinnamon muffin and a magazine this morning. It was very yummy!
Backlogging Thursday 7/1:
Had this at a restaurant with breakfast this morning. It was the only non-herbal tea they had. I have had this kind before. It’s pretty much your standard green tea. I enjoyed it.
Backlogging Wednesday 6/30:
I forgot about this tea. I used to really like it. Today I had it with a splash of milk. It was pretty good although I barely got the chocolate flavor and don’t think I got any caramel flavor. It was mostly a cinnamon tea with a chocolate aftertaste. Not a bad thing just doesn’t really live up to its name.
Backlogging… Wednesday 6/30:
This was surprisingly yummy! I don’t know if I have ever had this chai before. It was quite good sweet and just a little bit spicy. It kind of tastes like fresh baked goods!! Overall a hit!
I am finally back from vacation!!!
I have a bunch of tea to backlog so here it goes…

I was pleasantly surprised to find Prince of Wales at my vacation house! Now which is better: my fresh carrot cake and tea on Sunday or tea and a trashy magazine in bed on the first day of vacation?
A big mug of prince of wales and made from scratch carrot cake, what could be better?
I had 2 cups of this this morning. One with milk and one without milk. I am getting low in my sample :-( but I had to dig into it because I am leaving for vacation and this will most likely be my last really good cup of tea for a while.
Had this for my morning wake up :-)
So as a drink this was pretty yummy, vanilla and cinnamon = yum! However I am not so sure this actually has tea in it, I didn’t taste any tea any way. I really needed something cold to drink though for my mile walk to the post office and this helped me not die of heat, so I am grateful – haha.
I was really craving this tea this morning when I woke up. It was an excellent wake up tea. I mean who doesn’t want caramel for breakfast?
Eww. First off I hate the way this tea smells dry like truly despise it. I am not sure it is necessarily a bad smell but it is definitely a smell I do not like. I was hoping that the smell wouldn’t be an indication of the taste so I went on to make a pot of this iced. Unfortunately it tastes kind of like it smells. Luckily the taste was much less strong then the smell so I could take it but definitely do not particularly enjoy this tea! I could finish the cup but I highly doubt I can finish the pot or the sample. I don’t know what it is but something about this tea just does not sit well with me.
I was really in the mood for spiced apple chai this morning but it seems that I ran out so instead I had this with apple yogurt for breakfast.
Despite the fact that I got this tea in a chai latte set I have never had it any way but plain, so I decided to change that. I made a latte out of it and it was pretty good but definitely not as good as plain. I feel as if when I make a latte it tastes like milk with tea instead of tea for milk. Next up I want to try this tea with just a splash of milk, but I think I am always gonna like this tea plain and simple. I enjoyed my experimentation though :-)
Was in the mood for a good solid black tea this morning and this was it!
My dad is big into bike racing and when I was little he always ate a ton of powerbars and I always used to go to hang out with him at his friends bike shop and my snack would be powerbars. So whenever I drink this tea all I can think is powerbars. It doesn’t taste like one per-say but the scent is a dead ringer. So every time I smell the dry leaves I don’t think mmm tea, I think weird powerbar. Aside from that the tea isn’t bad. I have to use a lot of tea and steep for awhile to get it to the desired strength though, but I enjoy it with a splash of milk. And I guess the childhood memories aren’t a bad thing either – haha.
Had this with a splash of milk this morning – yummy!
I just made myself a giant mug of this – YUM! I haven’t had tea in 1 or 2 days and this was a great way to break my little tea hiatus. I absolutely love this tea. It is so spicy and delicious! It makes me so happy and it gives you this warm fuzzy feeling. I think this tea would be excellent in the winter to warm you up but it isn’t overwhelming in the summer which is awesome!!! This tea is awesome!
I am having this iced tonight. I quite enjoyed my 2 sample bags of this tea. Very yummy. Also now that I am having it iced it reminds me more of capri sun then orange soda. Haha. Very odd-flavor but still yummy.
Ick! I really like honest tea. I tend to find their teas refreshing and not to sweet and unique flavors. This was just gross. WAY!!! too much mint and not enough tea. Opening the bottle whams you in the face with mint scent and to top it off it is spearmint and I really dislike spearmint. I took 2 sips of this and I don’t think I can finish it. I gonna see if maybe my boyfriend will drink the rest so I don’t have to trash it. This is definitely not my cup of tea.
This chai is pretty good. I think I decided I like it best with milk or else it can be a little harsh with the spices, but I enjoy it :)
I am a typical college student, an Evolutionary Anthropology major. I spend most of my time hanging out with my boyfriend and friends, playing TF2 and popcap games, reading, and of course drinking tea.
I first started drinking tea every morning when I was a freshman in high school. I have recently discovered the joys of loose leaf, and I absolutely adore trying new teas (especially ones that sound like desserts)…Although I will always have my old favorite: big bold breakfast teas and my new favorite: wonderfully flavorful rooiboses.
