Good little caffeine boost for the morning. Still pretty much a basic black tea.

This tea is pretty good. It smells delicious. It isn’t particularly strong but it does have a nice blend of spices. I don’t really taste the apple but I think it helps dull the harshness of spice that I sometimes find to be a probably with unaltered chai tea.
This smells ridiculously strong and fruit as dry leaves. It is a little overpowering. Once I got used to it I realized it smells exactly like this herbal berry tea my mom used to make me when I was little. It looks and tastes like it too. It is very sour/tart. Not in a bad way, just in a fruit tea way. Its not my favorite hot though. I think the sourness might taste better cold. I am also getting a tiny hint of something woodsy, but the taste is overwhelmingly sour berries. Kind of like when you eat a sour blueberry. The tea is also like bright pink.
In sum – it is decent but not really my favorite. Definitely won’t be buying more of this.
I really like moroccan mint tea so I figured this would be similar… I was wrong. It smells pretty good – kind of like cedar. It doesn’t taste very good. It is kind of salty almost and very weak. It doesn’t taste like green tea and I am not getting any mint. After drinking for a little while my mouth feels kind of minty like right after you brush your teeth but that is the only hint of mint. This wasn’t “can’t finish the cup” bad, but it was “really glad this is just a sample” bad. Oh well.
I bought this one day when the grocery store was out of prince of wales tea. It isn’t bad. It doesn’t have any outstanding features and it is pretty standard. It isn’t bitter or weak or anything though. I had it with some leftover cake and it worked perfectly well for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
I just love this tea! It is simple because it is bagged but very flavorful. It has great tea flavor and its strong without being bitter. Very enjoyable.
Had this today at breakfast. I went to this little breakfast/lunch place that I always go to with my Mom when I am home. I always get this chai tea. It isn’t very tea-y because it is made from powder but it is still pretty good. They also have mighty leaf tea which one of these days I need to order.
Had this today but I got distracted unpacking the car so I oversteeped it. It was a little bitter, but not too bad. I really enjoy darjeeling tea, but I have never tried a high quality kind. This is a good quick tea though.
This was pretty good. I had it at the dinning hall today. My last cup from there this semester because today was my last final. It was not the best cup of tea to celebrate the end of a semester with but it was pretty decent. It wasn’t too weak and it had decent flavor. Pretty much your typical earl grey.
I love unsweetened iced tea. All iced tea should be unsweetened. It was yummy and not bitter at all and pretty flavorful.
My wonderful boyfriend made me some of this while I was studying for my exam I have tomorrow. It was much needed. I swear that I have rated this tea before but I can’t find any trace of it – maybe I am going crazy. More about this tea when my brain isn’t so fried.
Just made a pot of this. It was delicious and spicy and cinnamon and warm. It was much needed after a day of studying for my molecular final and packing.
I just tried this iced and I am glad that I tried the hot version first. It definitely isn’t as good iced. It way less spicy and that is what I loved about the hot version. Oh well lesson learned.
I really liked this tea. I think it is significantly better then it’s black tea counter-part and I like that tea!
It smells deliciously spicy dry, it smells a little funky when it is steeped but I’ll forgive it that. I love the flavor. It is so spicy and comforting. It is like a hug in a cup. It reminds me of something that I can’t put my finger on – maybe really good apple cider. Anyway this tea is awesome and I am looking forward to trying it iced (the pot is cooling in my fridge).
This is the last cup of the pot I made the other day :( Luckily I have plenty more of the tea left. This cup is a little spicier than the others, but it is just as good.
Had this today at the dinning hall. Nothing very exciting, but I needed some tea after my 3rd exam this week.
Had this again … This time iced (I put the rest of the pot from earlier in the fridge). It is pretty good iced. The added sweetness from the honey comes through more, but it doesn’t overpower the tea.
I made a pot of this tea this morning as a little treat before an 8 am exam. I added a bit of republic of teas chai spiced honey to the pot. It tastes really nice. This cup isn’t sweet really but it doesn’t have the sharpness of spices that I have experienced with this tea before. It is very smooth.
No notes yet.
I made a pot of this last night, it is the first time I have ever made this tea in a pot. It is a little weaker then when I make it by the cup – I think that it is because the water wasn’t hot enough to start. It is still delicious though – oh and I am having it iced by the way. I think it holds up nicely and is refreshing. I am on my second cup now which is just as good as the first.
Also I just realized that I believe I am the only one that rated this tea and yet the average rating is an 80 – how does that work – haha.
I had my iced version of this and I think this tea makes a great iced tea. The peach flavor really comes through! It is really refreshing and light.
So this was my first experience with flowering tea… overall I think it went pretty well minus some water spilling and some flower floaties in my tea.
My wonderful boyfriend just bought me this teapot set that came with 30 something servings of flowering tea (white tea with peach, green tea with jasmine and earl grey I believe). I just picked it up from the post office today so I was really excited to try it out!!!
The raw tea smells really yummy and peachy like a fresh juicy peach or maybe just peach rings candy but any way it smelled delicious. The wet leaves smelled kind of like sea water which was a little weird.
The first cup I had was almost clear after steeping for 5 minutes and it tasted like hot water with a faint peach taste. The second cup however was much stronger. It was a little more yellow and tasted more like white tea with a hint of peach.
For the second infusion I have a pot cooling in the fridge. I think that it will make an absolutely delicious iced tea and I could use some iced tea in this weather.
I really am enjoying this tea. It both relaxes me and wakes me up. It is also really refreshing.
I got this on the way to class. I have been experimenting with adding milk and creamers to tea because I am used to just plain. I tried this tea with Irish cream creamer. It wasn’t horrible but I think it detracted from the tea. I definitely like this better plain.
