Had this tea last night as a before bed drink…

Mmmm… the dry leaves of this tea smell so delicious! They smell like caramel and pear and just overall very sweet and strong and desserty! It is so strong smelling that I could smell it before I even opened the package.

The lovely scent carries over as it steeps! This was one of those teas that I couldn’t wait to drink as it was steeping. It has a really nice flavor. I have never had a pear flavored tea before but I adore pears so this tea has been on my wish list for a while. This tea definitely lives up to its name. It tastes like pears and caramel. It is quite awesome.

I received the dessert sampler pack as a gift and this tea made me super excited to try the other 3 teas included. Can’t wait to have one after dinner tonight!!!

Mmmm… I love this tea so much!!! I had 2 cups today one for breakfast and then one when I got home because I was craving it all day!!
It is so delicious and creamy, with a citrusy flavor and a strong black base. I just love it! Plus I just want to eat the dry leaves they smell so good!
My boyfriend got 4oz as an early anniversary present and I am so excited to drink every bit of it!!!!

Pj’s, mint tea, milano cookies and discovery channel are a great end to a very long day!

This tea is so relaxing and yummy. It is very enjoyable! Also I am surprised by how dark this tea is. It brews to be as dark as a black tea. I wonder why?

Backlogging a bunch of cups of this…

I am just getting over a cold and I drank a ton of this tea to help combat it. It tastes like fruit loops not even kidding. That is what I think when I drink this tea every time. It is decent. Not my favorite, but it works well as a soothing tea.

Also I love the look of this tea in the bag. It is so colorful and pretty! There are so many different visible ingredients!

My boyfriend surprised me with an early 2 year anniversary present of thepuriTea flavored tea gift set which has this tea as well as passion fruit and mango – mmm!

This tea smells very sweet, kind of like strawberry mike and ikes. It tastes pretty much the same as it tastes. That is very sweet and very fruity. I quite liked it but I think I need to try it iced to truly appreciate its flavor!

Okay this tea is AMAZING!!!! It smells like absolute heaven. It is this wonderful mix of vanilla, caramel, biscotti, and a little bit of coffee. It smells just like this coffee and gift store my mom used to take me in when I was little. This was one of those teas that I just couldn’t wait for it to finish steeping because it smelled so delectable!

It also tastes delicious. It tastes like an almond biscotti cookie, combined with a caramel latte. I can’t wait to drink every bit of this tea!

So I went for a 4min 30sec steep on this to try out what it would taste like! It was indeed very strong, but not bitter which I was happy about. The extra long steep actually brought out a sweeter element. It had this nice bold fruity undertone, that I really enjoyed. If I had to pick out what fruit I would probably say a raspberry like flavor. I quite enjoyed it. (Plus an excellent way to wake up in the morning!)

This is all I could think about this rainy, icky day. I made sure to make myself a nice hot cup as soon as I got home. This time with milk. I think I actually liked it with water better. It was still quite delicious though.

I was surprised no one else has logged this teas. Anyway this is another one of the teas I got with my Lupicia order. I actually had this one yesterday. I mad a pot of it iced. It smells delicious dry and while steeping, very fruity. I was really happy to see the chunks of fruit in there cause I like my tea to be flavorful!
This tea was great iced. It was fruity and refreshing (not as flavorful as thepuritea’s passion fruit tea but a close second). Also my boyfriend helped me drink the pot, I am starting to get him quite addicted to iced teas!!!
Also on a completely different note, I missed my 1 year anniversary of joining steepster (september 23)! I am sad I forgot about it but glad I have had this awesome site to use for 1 year!!

Mmmm… strong but yummy! I love strong teas! I saw Rachel’s review of this teas and I was like I have to try that tea! I love really strong breakfast type teas and that is exactly what this is. I steeped it for 2 & 1/2 minutes and it was stronger then most black teas that I steep for 5. Not gonna lie I wanna try what this tastes like at 5! I bet its crazy. I had the cup with a splash of milk as suggested and it was delicious!!!

I’m pretty sure this is the tea I have but not positive. I’ll check when I get home tonight. Anyway this tea was pretty yummy. It smells kind of like apple juice which I found odd, but it tastes like roobios. If you don’t like roobios this is not your tea but I happen to quite enjoy it. I had a cup of this while watching Fringe last night!

I got this as a free sample with my Lupicia order and I brought it to work with me today. I was looking over the tasting notes for this tea and I see I had a very similar experience to Morgana. I too wish I could try it under more controlled conditions because it was good but not as strong as I like.

Anyway this tea smells like those caramels that are little squares that are sometimes used for baking (that is probably a terrible description – haha – sufficient to say it smells caramely). It actually smells (and tastes) a lot like caramel tea from adagio which I love!

So like I said it was a little on the weak side. It tastes like a weaker version of caramel tea by adagio but with milk already in it. It certainly served it’s purpose as an afternoon pick-me-up. And this tea make me look forward to trying my other Lupicia teas!!!

This tea screams mint, both in scent and flavor. It tingles like mint, feels like mint and tastes like it too. I am throughly enjoying it because I love mint!!! I think this has spearmint in it which I normally don’t like, but I don’t mind it when it is combined with peppermint like in this tea. Also heres to hoping that Lupicia’s newsletter is correct and mint cools you down because it hit a high of 90 today and is supposed to do the same tomorrow – yay NJ – haha

So I have been really lax in logging tea lately with the start of school and all. I have been drinking way more then I log, but my order from Lupicia came today so I have to log my new teas as I try them!!! I totally caved on purchasing a bunch of teas from Lupicia to get the newsletter and samples everyone month and then a little more to get free shipping – haha.

Anyway this is my first Matcha experience. When I first smelled this tea I was reminded of two things – one was green tea ice cream and the other has completely slipped my mind. I will update this later if I think of it. Anyway the package says to add milk and then microwave but I am low on milk and decided to make it with water (and my beloved electric kettle instead). So I whisked in about 8oz of hot water.

My first impression was that the tea was okay, but as it cooled it got awesomer and awesomer. I love the slight vegetatal (okay I tried spelling this word about 8 times and I am failing :( )bitterness (I like when you can tell green tea is GREEN tea) so anyway I like the bitterness mixed with the sweetness of the caramel flavor.

At the end of my cup it got a bit powdery so I mixed in some cold milk and that was awesome too. I think this would be really great as an iced tea made with milk and I will at some point try it with hot milk too.

This tea is most definitely a winner. I look forward to the rest of my pouch :)

Made another pot of this for today cause my bf drank all of the rest of my first pot – lol. He apparently really likes iced mint green tea.

I made a pot of this iced tonight. For some reason I never thought to ice this, but then today I was like how delicious would the minty goodness of this tea be cold! And I was right it is so yummy cold, the mint flavor really shines through! Uber refreshing!

Had this as an after work pick me up = yum :) I thought I logged this before but I can’t tell now – hmm???

I had this this morning before I was off to work with a balance bar. For some reason that pairing went nicely together. It was an excellent way to start off the day!

I was craving something sweet after dinner last night and I bounced around between like 10 different teas but finally landed on this one and I was glad I did!

I had this yesterday morning and I was a little wary of it because I didn’t really know what kind of tea it was. As it was steeping it smelled like rose tea so that perked me up a bit. The first sip tasted fruity to me and the rest of the cup tasted like a fruity flowery combo which I found quite delicious. I don’t think this tea actually has fruit in it so my best guess is that the fruit I am tasting is from the hibiscus, but regardless I thoroughly enjoyed this tea. Actually I could really use a cup right now as I wait for a scanner to send me an email – ugh!!! Counting down the minutes til I can go home and get some tea!

I haven’t had this tea in a while, but I decided it was just what I needed while doing my reading for my Advanced Physical Anthropology class. And it was…green, minty, refreshing, delicious!

Okay my version of this tea is called Gypsy Rose not Gypsy Love, but the ingredients are the same so I am pretty sure they are the same. I am so glad to have another Rose tea to drink. I had this tea as a little afternoon pick-me-up!

The dry smell of this tea is spicy black pepper. I am not really sure why (maybe the Indian black tea???). The tea also has a little after bite that I associate with pepper although the rose is more in the forefront. I throughly enjoyed this though :)

Had this with breakfast this morning – mmmm! It is so yummy! I think this particular cup was slightly too weak but oh well – next time I’ll make it better :)
