drank Melon Oolong by Lupicia

I am getting low on this but I am less worried about that because a) I have people in Toronto who want to do a group order and b) Lupicia replied to my email to say that they WILL ship to Canada but you have to place your order first and then they’ll get back to you with the shipping cost.

So this wonderful, light, fruity oolong can be sipped down, but NOT forgotten. :D

You have no idea how excited I am about them shipping to Canada! omg!

Working on a shared order right now…. it is so exciting. The hard part is trying to narrow what I want to a reasonable number…

Thank you Steeped and Infused!
This was a free sample included in my last order. I’m not sure it’s on the website yet.

This is a really tasty and smooth coconut black tea. It’s creamy and almost buttery with the coconut. The almond nuts really enhance the flavour too. It’s good!

Mmmm, coconut…

This sipdown (176) was brought to you in part by the lovely ifjuly who surprised me with a bunch of fine samples in February!

And this is a nice, smooth, sweet tea. Yum. A little bready, too?
Not sure how else to describe it. I’m cold and shivery and need to focus on drinking this tea to warm up instead of analyzing while it cools!

Thanks again for letting me try this.

Yes! I’m back to drinking Tiger Tea! I kept my old tin so now I can divide my tea up and drink half at home and half work and never be separated from this rough and lovely beast.

It’s Friday today!
(which means, be careful who you follow on tumblr. :O)

i should get my tins on monday! woot woot!

drank Banane Chocolate by Lupicia

Someone is making me mad on the internet. Go figure.

But, omg, I forgot I made this tea, even though it was just 5 minutes ago and the first sip was so delicious and sweet that it made EVERYTHING OK.

Do you need us to go and deliver that person an internet roundhouse kick?

Teach them to mess with ppl hopped up on tea !!!

I’m with you guys, my internet kicks are legendary…

Haha I love these comments.

I shall keep all of you in mind next time… DUN DUN DUN…. someone is annoying on the internet.

…could be any minute now…

drank Hepburn by Nina's Paris

Oh! It’s creamy orange? I immediately tasted creamy fruit but couldn’t narrow it down further. Now that I’ve cheated and read the description my taste buds are all, yes, yes I can taste orange. Suggestible traitors, aren’t they?

It really seems obviously orange now though. Mmmmm… It’s like drinking a liquid Campino! (those hard candies…. om nom nom). Yes, I’m totally digging this now. I wouldn’t crave it all the time, but it hits the spot for orange if you don’t want to be blasted with cinnamon-orange.

Thank you Sil for passing this sample on to me! (177)

Sami Kelsh

Oh man, I haven’t had campino in years! Those things are lush.

I’ve got a sample of this to try! My last Nina’s sample. You’re making me want to dig it out….

I’ve got this one en route!

I have one on the way too, can’t wait!

Dig it out! Then you can add it to your shopping list with everyone else. :P

This is one of the few Nina’s teas I have not tried due to the orange. You do make it sound pretty delicious though.

This is good, but not as good as I expect from a “Fancy French Tea”™. I get a little bit of fruit and a bit of cream, and it’s nice, but not zomg, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for sharing Sil! I’m still happy I had a chance to see what this was all about.

Goodbye, goodbye you slimy green tea of deceptive sweetness. (169)
It was tasty, but I can no longer handle the green sludge on my cup staring at me while I drink it. I’ve got one cup left and I’m passing it on to someone who may enjoy it more than I did.

Dropped my rating.

Hahaha. Would I do that to you?
I was thinking the mystery box depending who it is going to next. It’s just ONE cup! Someone will give it a good home.

Chocolate, hazelnut, coffee!!!!
Oh, and I guess tea?

It’s a magic happy makeup potion!
(I wouldn’t need it if I had actually gone to sleep at midnight but I stayed up another hour reading this great fic and then couldn’t get my brain to shut up after because I wanted more but couldn’t keep my eyes open… Kindles with built-in reading lights will be my downfall!)

I have such a hard time with brain shut off at bedtime too! A lot of the times it is spinning about jewelry designs/plans or what tea I’m going to drink in the morning.

How much do I love my Kindle paperwhite? Lots and lots. And lots.

Dustin – YES! I know that feeling when you are so inspired/excited to get going on something. Lame as it sounds, I felt the same way about designing our company’s website. :P

Oddree-Which version do you have? I have the original paperwhite, but I cracked it 2 months ago and I’m looking to replace it in the summer. Not sure if there’s a real difference between version 1 and 2, or if I should wait until September to see if they announce a Paperwhite 3… It sucks I broke mine after less than a year though, but it’s manageable… for now. Even though the cracks in the light are so obvious at night. /0\

I wish wish wish I had gone with a backlit Kobo, seeing as the Sony store just merged with Kobo. :/ I still read more on my phone because I don’t need to have a room light on.

What do you think of Kobo? I’ve found them to be very competitive with ebook prices compared to Amazon. That sucks you regret not having the light though. :|

I haven’t really looked. I don’t like the infinite scrolling thing they have going on, so I’ve pretty much ignored everything. I do have a $10 credit I should use, but I’m not sure what to get. It’s hard to justify $15 on an ebook when I can get the paperback for less (used book store…).

I drank a huge cup of this earlier with maple agave and milk, as per usual. It’s in a black DAVIDsTEA tin and I’m down to the “S”. At this rate I’ll probably still have some next Fall, but I’ll just overleaf it to keep the flavour up.

Tea: I just started drinking loose tea in the fall of 2012, and once I started I had to get more and more and try ALL THE TEAS. Joining Steepster made this worse/easier.

So far it seems that I prefer unflavoured black teas, although I still drink a few that are flavoured each day too. Oolongs, greens, puerhs and white teas are all very good, but I just don’t crave them as often.

Me: Ok. Random things. I like animals, I have a baby girl and a devoted bf, and … I’m a geek. I like Lord of the Rings, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, pen&paper RPG’s, online RPG’s, video games, silly internet memes, puzzles and a bunch of others things! I taught myself to knit and I’m considering crochet but I need to make time for all these things!

1-50: Bleh.
51-64: It’s ok.
65-75: It’s good.
76-85: It’s very good. (Buy 1oz+)
86-100: Amazing. (ALWAYS re-stock)
