drank Red Queen Cupcake by Butiki Teas

Goodbye, sweet delicious tea! (142)
I needed a cup of chocolate and this was perfect. Sadly, I couldn’t drink it without sugar which I’m not crazy about, but it was AMAZING with a little added in.

(145) I found this buried in my flavoured tea bin last night, as I was tidying, and stuffed it in my purse to finish off today. It’s so good, and doesn’t deserve to waste away forgotten in the bottom of a bin.

It’s one of the few non-black teas that I consistently enjoy. That’s really saying something! And it’s so freaking hot/muggy/awful outside right now that a lighter tea like this seems preferable to my typical black.

This was weird, and I didn’t care for it. I couldn’t figure it out at the time, but I guess it was the orange zest that threw it off? That or the cinnamon itself. Either way, even with milk I couldn’t finish it. Sorry! VariaTea!

Haha don’t be sorry. I wasn’t a fan either. I was hoping you would have better luck with it but clearly that’s wasn’t the case. I am sorry you couldn’t get through it.

I needed silliness last night so I went for a cup of this instead of a ‘proper tea.’ It’s good; probably one of the best teas I’ve had from Adagio. It might even be better than Tardis bc this isn’t an EG!

drank Queen of Tropics by RiverTea

This one never impressed me. Sorry, your Majesty. There are other teas from RiverTea that I preferred far more!

Thanks 221Tea! for the generous Yunnan Sourcing samples. I’ve sat on them for a month or so because I need the right day to drink them – to make sure I could resteep it and enjoy it properly.

Today was that day. It was EXCELLENT. Warm, golden, bready, with a nice thick mouth-feel, and a flavour that goes strong after 4+ steepings! Fancy!

The episode of SPN that I was watching earlier featured Mjolnir, and it was even wielded by Sam, with the long flowy hair.

So, this tea was an obvious choice afterwards.

The Cookie Lady

I’m enjoying the snippets of Supernatural goodness that pop up in your posts :)

drank Gold Rush (organic) by DAVIDsTEA

Woo! I cashed in my DavidsTea points and walked away with 50g of this and 50g of Pumpkin Chai. That’s nearly $20 in tea right there! :O

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get this one since I had the Mulberry White from Rivertea, but this one is actually different enough to make it worthwhile. It’s so creamy with the coconut, and full of fruit.

I’m sipping away at this while I watch Season 8 of Supernatural. The toddler is sitting right next to me, cuddling up, and saying ‘BYE" when people get killed. Maybe that means I’m not getting mom of the year award, but it’s still adorable.

I have RiverTea’s Mulberry White and I’ve found I’m not a huge fan of it. Would you be interested in what I have?

To be honest, I’ve got so much of it from my last order that I’m not really in a rush to trade for more of it, but if you’re unable to find anyone else to trade let me know and I can do a swap. (I just… I think I’ve got 100g of it, and I rarely drink non-black tesa! :P Sorry!)

That’s super cute…

Sipdown (148)
I haven’t finished drinking this cup and yet I miss it dearly already. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite black teas, gently pushing the others out of the way. Much like this (http://www.supernaturalwiki.com/images/0/07/Beardyjensenseason9.jpg) is quickly becoming one of my favorite pics of Jensen. Beards, yo. They are important.

(Proper tea reviews, less so? IDK guys, I’ve had this tea a lot. I need to make reviews fun again. If that bothers you, unfollw me en masse. No hard feelings.

Look, who had I sipdown?
I did.
I had a sipdown. (150)
Finally. After many days of casual drinking, I did it.
And it was Steve. I took Steve out.
Steve Carrrrrlsberg….. That idiot.

Hooray for sipdowns! :D

Tea: I just started drinking loose tea in the fall of 2012, and once I started I had to get more and more and try ALL THE TEAS. Joining Steepster made this worse/easier.

So far it seems that I prefer unflavoured black teas, although I still drink a few that are flavoured each day too. Oolongs, greens, puerhs and white teas are all very good, but I just don’t crave them as often.

Me: Ok. Random things. I like animals, I have a baby girl and a devoted bf, and … I’m a geek. I like Lord of the Rings, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, pen&paper RPG’s, online RPG’s, video games, silly internet memes, puzzles and a bunch of others things! I taught myself to knit and I’m considering crochet but I need to make time for all these things!

1-50: Bleh.
51-64: It’s ok.
65-75: It’s good.
76-85: It’s very good. (Buy 1oz+)
86-100: Amazing. (ALWAYS re-stock)
