This is a rather small shop located in the shopping district of Kluuvi in the center of Helsinki.

Very friendly service, nice collection of teas plus they have glass jars with samples in them so one can take a sniff of the provided teas on their own! They serve the flavoured ones in the shop area and the unflavoured ones can be asked behind the counter. Good variety on both of them, and a big bonus for the salesperson to be ready to recommend when asked. Believe me, that’s a lot when living in the land of mutists. And they serve the tea of the day there, so one can get a free tasting as well on the spot.

Sadly the space is a little too small for when it gets crowded it’s hardly possible to squeeze through without being paranoid over dropping things.

All in all a neat little place.

Very tiny and cosy place, where sometimes tends to feel overwhelmed by the crowd just because of the size of the space, but the atmosphere and calm, minimalistic design which uses a lot of natural light manages to keep the experience positive and makes one want to visit again. The staff is friendly and they are pleased to also recommend teas even if one doesn’t have anything specific in mind, vague descriptions are greeted with knowledge and will to help in finding the best option. As for the prizes, on some occasions it might be better to visit other stores as well, for example when searching for matcha, but the quality is delightfully high.
