It’s sad. I loved this tea. Loved loved loved this tea.

And I hoarded it. I shared it with a few people, but I was holding onto what I had because it’s a special tea.

But now it’s just not as magical for me. So sad.

I was not sure I liked the aged taste in this tea, had what I would describe as a bamboo taste but some have used the word leather. I plan to try it again and I am thinking of breaking up a tuo cha and placing it in a yixing tea caddy.

Cheri

Bamboo…yeah, I can totally see that. I don’t get leather, but I could see bamboo.

Advent Calendar day 19

I did this one gongfu. Very nice. Roasty and flavorful.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it’s available anymore, or I’d probably have ordered it.

I’m lucky to have gotten some of this tea.

rich and delicious. The vanilla and saffron blend in perfectly with the golden monkey ad the keemun.

And I know you’re all jealous.

The aroma is amazing. The tea is outstanding.

I love the color, and the way the little threads of saffron just pop right out. Saffron adds an amazing little touch to it.

Fjellrev

Nice, where did you even get this? The sneaky smiley face brand name is sneaky.

Cheri

I got it from a special tea friend who loves me. It’s a custom blend.

Kittenna

Sounds delicious!

Oooh. I like this one.

Well, that is until I accidentally oversteep it by a bunch. But it was okay after a couple infusions after I dumped the really oversteeped one.

Nice and easy drinking. Yeah, I can get how this could be a daily drinker. It’s inexpensive and tasty. I’m glad I’ve got another one of these coming.

I need to try

AllanK

If memory serves me this was the one I got for free with my White2Tea order. I have not tried it yet.

Cheri

I did also get one for free with my W2T CM order, so I’ve got a bunch of this.

This isn’t bad, but it’s not as good as I hoped. I like Special Dark a whole lot better.

Oh this is nice. Buttery, sweet, creamy, a touch vegetal. Delicious. I really am enjoying this. I’m having it today Western style, but I look forward to trying it gongfu.

I found I really preferred this tea as it cooled. I think I liked the original Nutmeg Cream better.

I had this one yesterday. It’s sweet and buttery and creamy. It doesn’t taste like a cookie, but it does remind me of a cookie, so it’s all good. I didn’t try this one sweetened, but I think I will next time.

Bio

Still relatively new to drinking teas, or so I feel, even though I’ve been at it for several months now.

I’m drinking more and more of different varieties of tea.

It’s been a few months that I’ve been on here. I’ve expanded from greens and flavored teas to now I’m all about the oolongs and some unflavored blacks. I’m mostly drinking unflavored teas now, but there are a few of those flavored ones that have a special place in my heart.

Pu-erh is also something I’ve recently found that I enjoy.

I have four kitties and a spouse.
