I happen to love Rooibos teas, and this one was definetly very good. It seemed to get better towards the end of the cup. I steeped for 5 1/2 minutes, but I’m thinking it might be better with 5-7 minutes.
7 Tasting Notes
Part of the Adagio green savant sampler. Mild tasting Chinese green tea. Unremarkably simple with a very light aftertaste.
Part of the Adagio Rooibos sampler. Not crazy about the aroma in the pouch or after steeping. The unagreeable smell is the cocount (which doesn’t smell much like coconut). The “coconut” taste overpowers the rooibos, and I can’t taste any of the pineapple. Would not buy or recommend.
My first venture into Oolong, and I was pleasantly surprised. Very smooth taste which made drinking it an enjoyable experience.
I personally like the taste of Rooibos, and I felt that the vanilla overpowered the rooibos taste. Overall it was a good cup of tea, but could have been better.
Part of the Adagio White Tea Sampler. Very light, to the point of being bland. Not horrible, but not good either. It might taste better with a longer steep time than 4 minutes.
My first experience with “loose leaf” Rooibos. Came as part of the Adagio Rooibos sampler. Good balance between the Roiboos and the Orange with a very nice aroma. I enjoyed it, but perhaps my expectations were too high. Comprable to other Rooibos pouch teas I have had before.
Tried this again, and I liked it a lot better than the first time I had it. Going to increase my rating.
