Crisp, fruity, but not overpowering
14 Tasting Notes
This month’s tea sample is supposed to be served iced but I wanted to end the evening with hot tea. For some reason, pomegranate doesn’t taste like much to me – it’s a pleasing taste but it’s hard to figure out exactly what the taste is.
4 minutes is a little long for a white tea. This gives it a bit more flavour without compromising the delicate nature of this fragrant white.
A tea for prayer and meditation
Brew for 2 minutes then ice, ice, ice — For a little added tang, 1/4 Sierra Mist
Tea… goodnight…
Serving this super-fruit tea over ice this afternoon – definitely one of my favorites
Rich in flavour but lighter than hot cocoa… this is my “goodnight” choice.
Strong taste – imagine the “Red Bull” of teas.
I’m having it over ice, great for after a brisk walk.
It’s their sample tea this month – made a pot by oversteeping a bag. (Let the cries of “heathen” commence…)
This is a solid green tea with a honey taste that’s pleasant but fresh honey is preferred.
Soothing, soothing, soothing…
subtle fruit flavour, good afternoon tea when there’s still work to be done. I like to oversteep a pot of this and sip it for hours.
Tropical fruits and black tea for an afternoon with the promise of snow. This tea was a gift from my friend, Lillian, a recently retired math teacher and all-around classy woman.
Solid, yet mellow flavour.
This tea serves well this afternoon as I sit, sip and finish my correcting. I let this one steep a little too long but it’s not overpowering.
