This is a darn fine tea. A wonderful friend/co-worker gave me a little sample of this tea, along with a cinnamon honey stick. Brewed tea at boiling for 4 min, dropped that honey in there and OMG. So. Good. A great spiced tea with deeper flavour than some, probably from the carob. If you like chais or anything of that nature, you will LOVE this. Must buy!

Wonderful Erin brought to work a bag of Red Velvet Cake for me today. She is wonderful! And so is this tea! It smelt AMAZING. And the flavour payoff was reasonable, considering how crazy good it smelt. I will definitely need to purchase some of this asap. It is so so good. Imagining it as a latte.. yes please!
My lovely friend/co-worker passed this on since she had an allergic reaction to it. And I have to say, I LOVE it!
It tastes lighter and fresher than any bagged Earl Grey I have had, and I enjoy the super bergamonty taste. Definitely a huge fan, and makes me want to buy other DT Earl Grey’s. Thanks for sharing Erin :)
Smells amazingly like grapefruit but not tasting too much of it yet. A nice light tea however, and maybe with some experimentation, could be a favourite.
Had a very Merry Christmas, mostly since I was showered in tea gifts!
(imagine swimming in tea like Scrooge McDuck).
I wasn’t sure about this tea due to so-so ratings, but I really enjoyed it! I feel it could benefit from being more cranberry-y, so might dice up berries before next attempt, maybe that will help them steep better? I always wonder about dried fruit.. I can’t imagine a raisin imparting that much flavour, but I am no tea scientist. Anyhow, was a great light before-bed tea and if there is still some at the store, will treat myself to more!
Happy New Year all :)

After seeing DaisyChubb’s review of the latte, I made a mental note to check that out. And it was good! Sooo good. On a cold afternoon, I got this while my friends got Starbucks drinks. Usually I’d be ridiculously jealous, drinking the slightly lower cal option while trying to sniff the yummy Starbucks eggnog latte, but I was as happy as a clam. This tastes mostly like marshmallow to me.. just a big cup of milky marshmallow. Yummmmm. Not sure if it’d be as good, non-latte, but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt!
This might be my most favourite tea, ever. First, it is foolproof. You can steep it for ever, with hot hot water, and it only ever gets more delicious. You don’t need milk or sugar, but if you add them, equally delicious.
Secondly, it is so cinnamonny and sweet, it is just heaven. Its like DT’s Glitter and Gold with a little more “umph” (sp?!). It also has many resteeps to it. Ooh I love it. It’s really worth it.. Yum..
I am SO not thrilled by this tea. Very false advertising. Compared to their cranberry, or ginger peach teas, this one tastes nothing like you’d expect. There is talk of flowers in the description, and a rose bud on the box so I wonder if that’s is what’s ruining it for me.. something definitely is. It’s just OK. Sigh. Very sad! Also very sad is saving for a wedding which means buying more PC and less DT. Wedding = yay! Boring tea = no yay.
.. I don’t taste raspberries AT ALL!!
I will drink it all since it is tolerable, but won’t buy another box. Sigh, regret.
I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. Yum yum yum.
I like the “juxtaposition” of pear vs. vanilla. The ultimate show down! But instead they just get along and it’s delicious. I have yet to try it hot but my neighbour swears by it. I only have one cup left so we shall see! I kind of love it cold-steeped so might not happen.
If you want a tea that kind of tastes like a pear dessert of some sort, and is super crisp and refreshing, must try!
Why oh why don’t I trust my instincts!?
I KNEW this tea wouldnt be as good as Birthday Cake based on all the reviews. But I wanted Ice Cream Cake consarnit.
I have a little bit of regret.
Dry, it looks like confetti and I love it. It smells strongly like neopolitain ice cream. That’s ok!
Steeped, it smells delicious. I felt it could kick ass with some milk so did that. Need to stop doing that the first time I try a tea. So crazy.
While it is definitely drinkable, and I won’t have a problem finishing the little bit I did get, I just don’t feel crazy about it. Especially when I think there is probably something I’d love more. However, this is how I learn!
Will continue to enjoy with milk and sugar, but won’t repurchase. Boo.
So.. I went in expecting to purchase a little bit of Rose Congou Green and the tea lady talked me into this one instead. I am a little angry about it.. but I could have stood my ground I suppose!
Keeping in mind I was feeling a little iffy in the tummy all day prior to sample..
I disliked this tea a lot. Dry smell = awesome. Steeped smell = awesome but suspicious. Steeped tea = tummy ache.
I enjoyed the rose taste which was the whole point of checking out a floral tea, but the chili strings or whatevers do not jive with me. I will try it again, and then try it AGAIN without the chili things. But really made me nauseated, I hate to say. Very sad. Love the smell though, if I dont drink the rest of my 25 g, I will make it just to smell..
As Borat says.. WAWAWEWA!
I went into DT with a 10$ gift card and I was determined to get as much joy out of it as possible. I went in wanting Salted Caramel but after a whiff, I was turned off. I panicked (I only brought the names of the three teas I was planning on getting) and after consulting the menu, I remembered how much I loved the sound of this tea. But I thought it sounded to wintery. But then I said WHO CARES! It smelt amazing in store and at home. Very cinnamony, like any type of cinnamon gum.
And it was so beautiful, I was very distracted by watching the sparkles move. Like a snow globe in there!
Tasted just as it smelt, sweet but not overly. There is nothing I don’t LOVE about this tea.
I’d love to try with milk but worry it would ruin the magic. But was able to get two solid steeps out of it. And I loved it! Will definitely be buying more, especially for the fall. Have some serious guilt about putting it into a thermos though.. need a glass one. So pretty!
I have been trying milk with all my favourite teas to see what happens. Sorry if that offends the purists! I imagine adding milk to white tea might be a sacriledge. However! It is delicious times a million. Tastes more like blueberry pie than before. Very light, refreshing (even when hot, which kind of blows my mind), I am sad this is now only available online :( I will carefully ration what I have left!
You must try this tea.
This is an amazing iced tea, I am so grateful for Steepster people for pointing out the whole summer side of things. Tastes like how sunscreen smells. That’s basically all you need to know. Highly recommend, and will be getting more asap.
Starting to figure this tea out.. I don’t steep too long to keep it from becoming TOO earl grey-y, add a splash of milk and WOW. It is really good. Gave it to company recently and everyone was blown away and planning to head to David’s asap. A very good intro tea as it isn’t too crazy. Just a great twist of a classic. Yum I am making more tonight!
Cold steeped this over night in the fridge, my first iced tea attempt. And I am a very happy camper. This is delicious, light, and when summer gets to be really hot, I am going to crave this stuff. Wondering if I perhaps didn’t use enough tea, not too flavourful but definitely refreshing, like a lightly flavoured iced water. Some experimentation is in order.
Will be getting another package, unless another tea in the summer box set is even better (yay for birthday gifts!)
Has anyone frozen their iced tea to make popsicles?? Potential yum..
Yuuuum. In the bag this smells just like its name, and also once steeped. Tastes deliciouis, very strawberry-y. I possibly oversteeped, found the black tea aspect a little overpowering. Tea has such a learning curve! But regardless how I messed it up, this one is a keeper. Now to try it iced!
The first time I made this tea, it was heaven. HEAVEN!
When I made it this morning though, I apparently did something wrong :( Very sad.
If I can figure it out it might be my favourite tea ever. I find green teas finicking.. however, there is hardly any in the tin! All popcorn! Luckily I love popcorn.
All this to say, it tastes as good as it smells and I want to eat it. Be sure to steep it the full time, that seems to make a huge difference.
If you like caramel apples or caramal popcorn, this is the tea for you (without all those nasty calories!)
Smell: Woooah nelly that’s lemony. Earl Grey in the background while lemon punches you in the face.
Colour: Very pretty golden yellow
Taste: Delicious! So light and refreshing.. Hard to say what I taste first but Earl Grey is there, and lemon is there, and a subtle creaminess is kicking around.
Will try another steeping and see what happens.
I’m always nervous with green teas, but this one is beautiful and so-far, foolproof. Yum!
Yum yum yum! My first white tea.
At first smell, it is a very powerful tea, very blueberry-y. So far, so good.
After first steep, like a delicate blueberry pie flavour. I enjoy white tea, if they are all like this. Very refreshing and soothing.
After second steep, less blueberry but still delicious. Even more light. Highly recommend.
Something about this tea is good and bad. I love the smell, first taste, but there is an aftertaste that doesnt groove with me. However, if sweetened, I find it less of a problem. Like all PC teas, it is affordable and of decent quality. I like it after a heavy meal/dessert.
Not the best chai I’ve had, but decent, especially for the price. I enjoy it with a little sweetner to cut the spicy edge. Not sure if I’m a huge fan of chais.. but this one is drinkable for sure! Love it as an afternoon snack with a cookie/biscotti/something delicious and cakey. I find if it steeps too long, gets a little weird bitter after taste.
A great Camomile tea. Chamomile? Anyhow. Very smooth, almost buttery taste. I can’t justify to myself to buy expensive loose leaf camomile when there are drinkable ones at the grocery store!
Very soothing, calming, great for the tummy.
