I’ve been so stuck on loose leaf teas lately that when my grandparents gave me a boxed Twinings variety set, I let it sit in the back of my cupboard for a pretty long time. Just the other day I decided to sort through my cupboard (it’s SO crowded) and I happened to find it, which made me want to give it a try. It just so happens that I really love this tea! I used to avoid black teas but this one has turned me onto others, and especially with a couple packets of sweetener, it really has a great taste for a bagged tea. I enjoyed it so much that I went back and bought more; it’s really convenient when I don’t have time to prepare loose leaf tea, or when I’m just on the go.

My name is Nicole (lots of people call me ‘Coles’ for short, which explains my nickname), I’m an 18 year old from a little town in Ohio who loves tea! :)

I’m basically your average broke-high-school-senior-who-will-be-going-to-college-soon-yet-still-insists-on-purchasing-tea kind of girl. ;) I’ve loved coffee since I was 13 (and still do), but tea is wonderful as well and I feel they serve different purposes.

If I’m tired or need a pick-me-up, I will turn to my sweetly prepared coffee (mm, love sweetener & creamer!); but if I’m just relaxing or simply enjoying life in all its beauty, tea seems to best suit my mood.

I’m still “new” to the tea world, trying to branch out of my white and green tea comfort zone into other loose-leaf teas in order to have a really fun experience exploring. This site is perfect, and I often read reviews and explore teas just for the fun of it. I’m hoping I can learn a lot here and meet some fellow tea-enthusiasts who are willing to help me on this journey!
