Hated this at first – something about the taste was very synthetic. But maybe I just steeped incorrectly or something, because I’m really enjoying it lately. Very sweet, burnt sugar taste without being cloying.

One of my favorites. Down to my very last cup! I’ll definitely be reordering this tea in large quantities, as soon as possible.

Very easy tea to make at work. I don’t really need to be concerned about the water being too hot. Also wonderful with honey when sick. tastes like candy canes!

Took a cup with me to work today. I’m starting to think my stash is going stale. It seems like the flavor is weaker than it used to be. I remember this being a particularly strong black. But my tin is at least two years old, so maybe it’s fading because of that. I should never buy a pound of tea again. I have way too much flavor ADD for that.

I know what you mean about the flavor ADD…. I have had a few pound purchase regrets myself!

Nooo, why did it have to get cold again? I thought we were done with that!

I was going to have this iced as soon as I got up, but I changed my mind after stepping outside for a moment. Anyway, I’ve got a tall glass and am sipping away. I’ve reviewed this at least 5 times now, and should probably stop.

I’ve beenr ealizing lately that tasting notes are useless for me…since I drink the same dozen teas repeatedly. I’ve got a dozen tasting notes on spearmint, I think. Seems silly!

Tabby

It does! I guess the only reason I do it is to track what I’ve been drinking when for future reference, but that seems like it might not be a good idea… It’s dangerously close to spamming. D:

Uniquity

I think my quandry rests in that I use my tealog as a personal tea journal – a record of (most) every cup. I LOVE that aspect. But, each of my notes is also used for the Steepster universe as info for the tea. If I post 14 notes about Spearmint it definitely does look like spamming – But i still want to record for myself, in the same place, when I drank the tea and occasionally the story to go with it. I’m stuck in a loop! :)

SimplyJenW

I think tea logs are mostly for the drinker…but it is always good for the rest of us to know what everyone is drinking regularly and how they feel about it. Single tasting notes are not as apt to get my attention as logs of multiple consumption. Our tastes often change with our mood, the weather, etc. Loop away, Uniquity and Tabby!

Made a tall glass last night with minimal sugar. I’m slowly trying to break myself of my lifetime habit of over-sweetening my tea. I know in some cases it compromises the tea’s flavor instead of enhancing it. Also, I’ve noticed the more active, serious Steepsterites I watch all seem to forgo sweeteners. Their comments on a tea’s natural sweetness makes me curious to see what I’ve been missing.

Anyway, this was tasty as usual.

Whenever I drink a plain black tea (or some flavoured) I sweeten it to avoid the bitterness, but I’ve quickly come to learn that, for me, almost every tea is perfect without sugar, or any other additions!

Made a pot of this in my ingenuiTea. Kicking back on my day off, trying to get better. Strong Ceylon and sweet plum with a hint of something I still can’t place, like vanilla. My stash is officially half gone forever.

Having a tall glass of this iced, brewed with the half-crushed remains of my 4 oz. tins of Adagio’s English Breakfast and Ceylon Sonata mixed in. I’ll miss Ceylon Sonata…

But anyway, this was sweetened with plain sugar, with little shark-shaped ice cubes mixed in. It’s strong and refreshing. The plum flavor overshadows everything in this particular batch, but I welcome that. Glad I still have a lot of this left.

Hello, old friend. I’ve been drinking this tea on and off for about five years now. I always come back to it. Been slowly making my way through a 1lb.-bag I acquired not long after Adagio stopped producing this for the east coast. It was my first loose leaf tea.

As usual, it’s a very potent Ceylon blend with tart plum and a hint of vanilla. Having it hot tonight. Is there a term for having cups of tea back to back, like “chain smoking”, only with tea? Because that’s what I have been doing today.

This is basically all I’ve been drinking for the past two weeks.
In fact, I’ve got a huge glass of it right here, iced with sugar. So refreshing. :)

This is my all-time favorite tea, hands down. There is something just deeply soothing to me about it. I catch myself sniffing my canister of it because it smells so delicious. I can’t say the taste is pure plum, though. I think there’s a hint of vanilla and something else. I just can’t get enough of it.
It’s a real shame they don’t make it anymore… I guess other people didn’t find it as amazing as I did. I’m glad I got a pound of it before it was all gone!

Fabulous tea. Strong scent, but flavor to me is gentle and smooth. Slight bitter aftertaste, definitely better not to let it cool too much though as mine tends to get an almost sour flavor when it does.

Still love this tea. As others have noted, it is pretty light so I usually brew it with more leaves than usual. Mmm.

It’s great in the summer, iced. The blueberry flavor is strong but not overwhelming.

It smells really good. It’s just what you’d expect from a decent peach white tea – I prefer to drink it iced.

This is my go-to tea anytime I’m feeling under the weather. It’s always refreshing, soothes the throat and stomach. I sometimes mix it with the spearmint and it’s even better.

This smells so good. It really does have a creamy taste to it, and the black tea itself is of pretty good quality. I don’t often drink it on its own, but it’s wonderful mixed with other fruit teas.

Their masala chai is one of the better that I’ve tasted, and I’ve tasted a great many masala chai blends.
