Adagio Teas

They’re not kidding about the umami with this one; it’s super-aromatic with a thick mouthfeel, and the best I can describe it is as bracing. Definitely not for those who prefer more delicate flavors, but I could see this being a lifesaver on a cold winter morning.

Enjoying my first cup. Very nice golden liquor. I was afraid of a strong peach flavor, but the product is a very delicate fruit taste. This will be a nice evening tea. Perhaps I’ll ice it when it warms up.

Something very artificial and bitter about it. I think it’s the taste of the blackberry leaves themselves I’m not liking. I’m usually all about blackberry tea, but not this one.

This brews into a light yellow cup, and is a very light tea. It tastes alot like Fruit Loops.

This one is really hitting the spot today. I didn’t have any tea yesterday because I was.. hurting from the previous night’s celebrations, so it feels good to have a cup. Valentines is one of the first teas I really loved from Adagio, or anywhere. Not too sweet but definitely has that taste of chocolate-covered strawberries.

Still one of my favorite teas of all time. I’m just about through my third sample size of this.. I should probably just suck it up and order a 4 oz.

Probably my favorite black flavored tea from Adagio. This stuff just hits the spot.

This is one of the teas that convinced me that black teas (unless prepaired with more milk and sugar than actual tea) are not for me. I though the drink was way too bitter, and just gross tasting. The rest of this tin will be going to my mom.

ICED! Delicious! I made 4 cups with 2 tbsp of honey to lightly sweeten the batch. Came out fantastic, and is actually a little sweeter than I thought it would be. Maybe I’ll go with 2 tbsp of honey next time.

Came back to this after a good amount of time not drinking it. Love the sweeter notes compared to a regular rooibos.
