I didn’t care for this one as much when I tried it hot last night, but it was pretty good as a cold drink after this morning’s workout. As with many other fruit-based tisanes, this one was a little more tart than I typically like, but it’s still quite enjoyable. I won’t have any trouble finishing off the rest of what I bought, but I don’t like it enough for it to make my repurchase list.

I enjoyed this when I first bought it, but the more variety of tea and tisanes I drink, the less impressed I am with this one when I come back to it. It’s not bad, it’s just another tisane that gets increasingly tart as it cools, but with a coconut taste added in there. I’m glad I gave it a try, but I won’t miss it once it’s gone.

Bonnie

I adore the name!

canadianadia

It is a cute name, isn’t it? I must admit that it’s part of the reason I selected it to try.

Nik

Mum loves piña colada. I’m tempted to give it a try.

canadianadia

Honestly, actual piña colada tastes way better than this tea. It’s the tartness from the Hibiscus that seems to ruin it for me.

Nik

Okay, no longer tempted, thank you. =P

Although this is a good tea, I feel like it would be even better if it had more pineapple and a little less of some of the other ingredients such as hibiscus and apple.

The coconut taste is definitely there, but it is struggling to fight past the tartness of the apple and hibiscus. I was also hoping for the sweet juicy taste of pineapple to shine along with the coconut in the forefront of this tisane, but much to my chagrin, both flavors are much too hidden behind the tart ingredients. This tisane is not bad, but tart fruit teas seem quite common in my collection, so I don’t feel it offers anything unique enough for me to want to repurchase it.

I followed the suggestion on the package and added a cinnamon stick. I can’t say I’m a fan. I know cranberry is typically a tart flavor, but this is just too much. There are better cranberry teas out there. Lowering my rating.

As expected with a tea named Cranberry Apple, this is quite tart. As I was drinking it, I felt the cranberry flavor didn’t ring through quite as true as I would have liked – it had the tartness, but lacked the berryness (yay! for made up words). And then, when I read the ingredients I noticed that there is no mention of actual cranberries – well, that explains things perfectly. Overall, it’s not a bad tea, it’s just disappointing that it lacks the berry taste I was hoping for.

The more tisanes I drink, the more I realize I really don’t care for hibiscus. This tea is decent when it’s hot, but as it cools; my mouth can’t help but pucker in protest at the tartness.

Veronica

I’m not a hibiscus fan either.

Ditto on the hibiscus. I’ll put up with it if the rest of the tea is something I really like, but overall I find that it tends to ruin things for me.

canadianadia

Agreed. There are very few teas with hibiscus that make my favorites list. In fact, off the top of my head I can only think of one – Davids Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait.

I must admit that I haven’t tried this one iced or with sugar yet, but I do enjoy how the flavors of strawberry and lemon compliment each other as a hot tea.
