Thanks to LauraR for this one!
I didn’t really get any noticeable citrus flavours from this cup and I didn’t really get much cranberry either. It smelled quite promising, but it was a bit of a flop in the taste department. I was expecting bold citrus and cranberry flavours but I could only really taste the rooibos.
This is a good Earl Grey. Not the best I’ve had, but certainly no where near the worst. It has a pleasant black tea base, and the bergamot is strong and flavorful. The aroma is strong in the dry leaf, but it is considerably softer in the brewed tea, although it still smells delicious.
A good, basic Earl Grey. One of the better bagged Earl Grey teas that I’ve encountered.
Preparation
Weak, weak tea. It made me sad how little spice taste is in this tea, and I happen to adore spiced teas, especially in winter. I smell cinnamon notes, but I really only taste black tea. Did someone forget to put spices in the bag?
Alas, you get what you pay for I guess. Like Teacast, this came in a package of Bentley teas that I bought at an embarrassingly low price (and there are a number of $1-$2 boxes of teas out there that I DO like). Maybe I’ll have better luck with the next flavor.
This is a bagged tea offering. Internal expection of the tea bag shows no pieces of hibiscus, cranberry or orange peel. There is also a medicinal taste to this one that stayed with me throughout the cup. I feel that cranberry and blood orange are rather dominant flavors and expect them to get in my face. This mostly tasted like rooibos with cranberry and a citrusy finish. I wanted some tart. Not for me.
Preparation
This has a pleasant blackberry scent and delicious blackberry taste. A nice balance between tea and berry. It’s sweet with a little bit of tart. Not a lot of astringency with this cup.
A very pleasant tea.

Tuesday Nov. 9-2010 2nd Steeped Cup for the Day
Early in the Evening I needed a Fruity Uplift.
This was the Tea of choice at this time.
Good Black Tea Base with a Bold Presence.
And the Passion Fruit is more Noticeable the the Papaya.
Great choice in the Early Evening.
A bag of this was thrown into the sampler box TeaEqualsBliss sent me. Decided to have this to fill my fruity green tea craving. I can definitely taste the raspberry in this. Not a whole lot to this green tea base, but it’s pretty decent. I like the raspberry in this. Should have mixed this with the watermelon raspberry green for an extra raspberry boost!
Preparation
This smells a little like Blackberry but a little like something else I can’t seem to identify. It must subconsciously remind me of something, I guess. But…it DOES taste like Blackberries! So that’s a plus!
This is a decent bagged black flavored tea. A nice medium strength. Nice flavoring! YUM!
