I have found a way to make this otherwise unpleasant tea absolutely delicious! Just use one bag of this, add one bag of Four O’Clock’s Chocolate Spice (no milk!), and you get something wonderful. It’s like some kind of decadent dessert. I will call this experiment a resounding sucess.
For a cheap bagged tea, this is not bad. I mean, don’t get me wrong. It’s not great. The peach flavor is very strong, dominating the drink. The taste of the green tea, meanwhile, is pretty much not there. But this is drinkable. It doesn’t need any sweeteners or additives, since it’s already quite syrupy.
This isn’t a high end tea, but it delivers an enjoyable cup that I can only describe as creamy in taste. It’s very smooth and not bitter at all. It’s also well packaged for a bagged tea. There are 4 bags in a resealable pouch so it stays fresh. It’s great when I want a little pick-me-up at work.
Preparation
You know I’m expecting a bad day when I broke out my final bag of this at 630 am…
Then I walked away from my plate and came back to find my cat licking the sugar off the top of my sugar cookie. sigh

Alright Thursday, bring it on!
I really disliked the decaf version of this, but I like this one – it has the right amount of vanilla for me (maybe too much for those who like their chai’s spicy).
I don’t know – I just recall not liking it… maybe it tasted “flat” the say decafs sometimes do? Or maybe it was jut an old bag. Or maybe I’m misremembering. I’ve had this (full caf) twice recently and liked it better than I expected to each time, so some how my previous experience with the decaf biased me.
Scene: 9:30 p.m., and I’ve just walked a half-hour in the rain with a broken umbrella. My dress shoes are waterlogged. At that point, any tea is a good idea.
Mint seems to be my default; when I’m tired or cranky it’s a good option. And this was okay for the 10:00 p.m. train ride home, but not something I’d pick up every day. It’s that fake minty taste (someone likened it to toothpaste), not reminiscent of real mint, but I can deal with it as a late-night option.
