From a sampler of Celestial Seasonings herbals. Definitely raspberry, and definitely zingy. The spice mix blends well with the raspberry flavoring. Very nice, and would be good iced as well.

This is a pleasant surprise! I didn’t think I’d like this because the lemon would be overpowering, but it’s perfect! A great balance of flavor. I’m really enjoying these zingers lately!

I think I’ve had this before and I think I remember liking this too!

My last pot of this blend. It’s definitely grown on me since I first bought it. I’ll probably end up revisiting it in the future, but for now, I’ll try a few different things.

I’ve been drinking their Candy cane lane every evening. I might have to try the sleepytime vanilla.

Going to go to bed early tonight…big pot o’ this before I head that way. I have noticed I sleep better when I drink chamomile at night. This blend is pretty good…but I’ll probably be investing in a different one rather than pick it up again.

It’s been so long since I shopped Celestial Seasonings… I didn’t know this existed. Sleepytime was always my favorite, and I love vanilla.

Jaime

I’ve never had plain Sleepytime, but this one is very nice. The vanilla makes it really smooth and creamy.

My last pot of the evening…so glad that my conference is in town this week!! It means I get to sleep in a smidge, and that I didn’t have to abandon Chloe (what, has nobody else named their Breville?), and can have delicious tea before I go to the morning sessions. Granted, I’ll probably not get to have any once I’m there, but at least I’ll have a few really good morning cups!!

You named your Breville LOL! Mine came today woohoo! I will have to think of a name for it :)

I’m still feeling a bit off, so I’ve brewed up a pot of this and will be heading to bed shortly to hopefully sleep off whatever bug I’ve caught. Breathing in the mint smell is very soothing, and I’m hoping the chamomile will help sleep come quick. I’ve got a busy week ahead of me, and I don’t want to be sick for it.

Hope tea helps chase the ickiness away!

Hope it brings sleep quick and you wake up feeling refreshed.

Smells like mint and vanilla. I taste the chamomile and mint equally, with the vanilla rounding it out and turning this into something delicious. And while you can taste the chamomile, this tea isn’t flowery at all. Definitely a good tea to have. And here’s hoping that it soothes me into dreamland (especially after the caffeine I’ve had today).

It was good while it was steaming hot, had to dump it after it cooled down. Glad this was given to me because it would have been a sad waste of tea money.

The actual raspberry flavor of this isn’t bad when you single it out. It’s not too artificial. But the rest of the elements of the tea are very weak. I can vaguely taste the hibiscus, but it’s mostly overwhelmed by that generic bland herbal taste most of Celestial Seasonings’ feature. I wouldn’t buy it again. Next time I’ll be looking for a real black tea instead of this sawdust.

Don’t know if I’d like it now, but I have to say that this and Sleepytime are what got me into drinking tea when I was a kid. So for that I give it a kind rating.

This is one of my special friends.
Sure, I admit she does live in the shadow of Raspberry chocolate bliss, but if you look past that this is one of my happy teas. Fab with a bit of sugar and milk its like a gentle vanilla nutty tea-sperience. Not super strong, more subtle….but then in 1997 they were marketed as after dinner teas, so its kinda fitting. :)

Tweak # 1. Added half a packet of Sugar in the Raw to see if that would help this any. It actually seems to have dulled the flavor somewhat. And the aroma. So that’s apparently not the answer. So do I try white sugar next or move onto something else…?

I love most things cherry and since someone brought a box of this into work, I figured I might as well give it a try. I was a bit hesitant as I haven’t had either bagged tea or an herbal in years. Walking down the hallway with the bag happily (or not so happily) brewing away I got a definite smell of cherries. I thought if it tastes as good as it smells I might have found the herbal I’ve been looking for. It does taste of cherry and…something else. Maybe that blackberry leaf someone else mentioned. It’s ok but it needs something. I might have to either commandeer this box or buy one of my own to experiment with.

A yummy lazy leave the bag in the cup tisane! Taken with a little honey. I am finding the black cherry to be the predominant flavor. It’s really flavorful, and I enjoyed it so much that I boiled some more water for a resteep of the bag. It’s milder, but still quite enjoyable!

Not too tart?

JacquelineM

Not for me – I love tart :) The honey gave it a sweet/tart flavor I particularly liked. I am in the camp of hibiscus loving too, so that didn’t bother me either.

I find a lot of the Celestial Seasonings teas to be too strong/too hibiscustastic for my tastes, but this is a very nice all purpose soothe the belly tea. (Could use some ginger though! mmm, ginger)

Cofftea

“hibiscustastic”- LOL! Hibiscus is an odd thing to put in a tummy wellness tea…

Ewa

well this one doesn’t have any of it, it’s just that most of my celestial seasonings experience comes from the “X Zinger” teas (Red Zinger, Cranberry Zinger, Cranberry Apple Zinger, Red Cranberry Apple Zinger, Potato Zinger – I may have made some of those up) which are full of teh hibiscus. The lack of it here is probably why I liked it ;D

Picked this out of the cabinet at work. It smelled good, but the taste isn’t all that great. I read the package and it says the ingredients are all natural. Black tea, hibiscus, and raspberries. However, it tastes a bit strange. I get an aftertaste of raspberry, but that’s about it. I do kind of like the smell, but I would not have this again.

Purchased as part of a sampler pack. Brewed for 10 minutes, as I like my herbal teas strong. This tea is indeed very cherry, but I can taste the chicory. Can’t decide if it’s a good thing yet or not. I’m not a big fan of sweet cherries, and this is definitely sweet.

While the taste isn’t the most wonderful in the world (I always add honey to it), I keep this around because it does makes me feel better.
