Choice Organic Teas

Been drinking this for more than a year after I found out that I am pregnant just to be safe from chemicals. Whenever I need to stay up after a tiring night I make 2 bags and then I stay up.

The dry teabag smells entirely of peppermint, specifically those peppermint puff candies I love. The color is red with a border of green and the taste is peppermint with the cloying artificial sweetness of licorice. I don’t mind licorice candy so much, but I’m not a fan of the flavor in tea. A tiny bit of honey smooths it out a bit without adding extra sweetness.

I love this tea. My only problem is finding a store that carries it, as I can not remember where I found it. Everyone carries Choice Teas but not the Russian Caravan. Even when I call the company they can not tell me where.

Another pretty good bagged tea from Choice. It doesn’t seem to have quite the bite of an Assam, but it’s fairly strong, and has a decent smoothness to it…not as smooth as a Ceylon, but still pretty nice. I’ll have to drink it more to give a better review, but I do like drinking it.

Good Darjeeling, nice and smooth. A good light black tea for the afternoon.

Maybe I just don’t like bancha hojicha, and it’s not Choice’s fault, but this is actually the only tea that I’ve ever really disliked. I’ve tried it a good 3 or 4 times. I’ll give it another shot or two, maybe my tastes will change over time.

Solid bagged green tea. I prefer loose leaf green teas, but I choose this one often when I’m grabbing a tea bag. I’m a big fan of grassy Japanese teas, and I generally go with this one or the Stash green tea if I’m looking for bagged green tea.

One of my favorite strong Assam teas. Gets me going in the morning.

Jamming on this little ditty, this cold snowy Monday morning. I’ve always enjoyed this one. Mint and the mate blend well together. Gives you that extra boost you may need to get your work week started. Plus its a quick one to prepare when you are up against deadlines. If you enjoy mint teas, I’d recommend this one. This has a very strong flavor, with ginger and licorice being the primary things I notice. I really like both flavors, so I really like this tea!

I really love this tea. I tried it at an event, where there weren’t many options; I usually am not a huge fan of peppermint teas, but the liquorice complements the peppermint perfectly. I drink this straight, with no sweetener or milk.

Sipdown! Sorry to see it go. Always a reliable cup when relaxing in the evening or when tummy troubles hit. Time to move on to some of my other mint teas.

I really like this peppermint tea because of the strong peppermint taste I get from it. It’s not a wimpy, mild, watered down peppermint. The taste is solid. Perfect for when I’m having tummy troubles. Helps to settle my stomach nicely. I always like to have peppermint tea on hand and this brand suits me just fine.
