This is my standard yerba mate and I love it becauee it has the right blend of cut leaves, dust and sticks for traditional preparation in a gourd with hot but not boiling water. It has a lingering herbavious taste suited for experienced yerba mate drinkers. Sure there are better mates around but this one is a consistent and reliable daily drinker.

Cruz de Malta makes one with anise added that is amazing, especially con leche (I prefer soy).

if there was such a thing as bad yerba mate this would be it, ive. tried alot of brands but for some reason its just not as good. I wouldn’t buy it to drink, only to use to cure my next gourd

This was the first Yerba Mate I tried and it got me hooked! It is one of the smoothest. If you have always wanted to try YM, this is an excellent one to start with. Nowadays I mainly have Rosamonte, but will buy Cruz de Malta if on special.

I love this. It’s the best way to get a lot of energy without becoming jittery or hurt the stomach. Smooth and simple.

This is the classic mate. Very smooth. It was the first kind I ever tried and still a favorite.

Nice mate’. I rated this as such. I added a coffemate hazelnut creamer and this was one of the best ever “teas” i have ever tasted.

Amazingly I never get grossed out by sharing the bombilla — passing it around while chatting + getting caffeinated is the way maté actually nourishes the soul.
