Della Terra Teas

nom nom nom. Apparently i went to crazy town tonight and found everything funny. Now it’s really time for bed. Tomorrow is going to be a loooooong day.

one more tonight just to sip on while trying to get some dishes done. I efel like i haven’t done anything today after my long ass work day. I do still love this one so i’m glad it’s back in my cupboard for at least a few more cups :)

So done with internet stupidity and ice storms. Had this tonight…still delicious but should have picked up more on Black Friday haha

sipdown! (126) mostly because i had to have at least ONE today with all my drinking of mostly non black teas. It’s been nice visiting with my greens/oolongs etc today while curled up under the blankets. This was a cold brew and man…so good. I’m not sure if i like this one of lime gelato from DT more…but i’ll keep stocking both here and there until i figure it out haha

one more cup of this tomorrow as a cold brew and then i’m out…until cavocorax comes to visit :) i am stupidly exausted today. We had dinner and i have apple crisp cooking in the slow cooker because i’m lazy and didn’t want to babysit the oven…plus we’re also making banana tonight!

very nearly a sipdown, though since i’ve got another few ounces of this coming my way via cavocorax, it won’t be for long! and that, that makes me happy because i need more teas in my cupboard that aren’t black or puerh lol for when i just want something different. Still loving this.

backlog from yesterday. I had this as a cold brew and man, i had forgotten how much i love it that way! just the right balance of sweet and sour :)

I had another cup of this tonight since I might be getting more of this over black friday. If not, i’m not fussed about it since it’s a regular tea with Della Terra so i’m safe from having to moan over it’s removal from the site :) I received my swap teas from cteresa tonight but i’m trying to wait for a bit before i try them so that i can really sit and enjoy them without work hanging over my head. i MIGHT make an exception tomorrow morning for american breakfast haha…anyway, point being that i WAS down to 136 but now i’m back up to 142. However STILL under my black Friday goal so HA! :)

Had a giant mug of this while watching some Walking Dead with my other half. Still enjoying this one quite a bit after all this time. :)

Tonight, I am digging this one a little more than the. Orange cream. I’m still a fan of both over lemon chiffon though :)

Inspired by kittenna yesterday i also put some of this in to cold brew. I wish i’d been able to try the lemon as well but at least this helps narrow down which i love the best. :) Lemon will be tried next up i think. In terms of comparing this one with orange and cream – i much prefer orange and cream cold brewed. However this one is still a tasty cold brew that is less tangy than i want it to be, but it’s still pretty good. I think i like lime chiffon best as a hot brew though for that extra bit of tangy zip (but not of miracle whip). HA! anyway…good times :)

Woot woot! Of course there will be teas added shortly increasing that back up again but at least now I feel like my cupboard is under control. Now to spend some time drinking up my larger bags of tea. May have to do a butiki week or marriage freres week lol

Still digging this one. Ill likely keep at least one of Della Terra’s rooibos blends in the cupboard permanently. :)

So needed to end the night with something I knew that I’d like. Not nearly as far along in my sipdowns as I’d like but I have a couple now, just on the edge heh. Standing count tonight is 220 with 4 days to go…still like 10 teas a day but I think I can manage it lol

I’m just so thankful for sample sizes….maybe I’ll celebrate if I can get to 150 by posting in the swap thread to help slim down some of my bigger bags of things. Really excited about the travelling tea box even if it is forever away from now. Hopefully some new teas to try with that and some goodies to share with others.

Today was a good day.

Had a tasty cup of this tonight to compare it against the champion (by a slight margin) in my lemon chiffon trial lol. I think i like the zing that the lime brings just a weeee bit more than the lemon square taste of the lemon chiffon.

Sipdown count at the end of today? 216 (behind in my target by 8 teas) but still potentially on track to at least get under 200 by Friday, which i think? is when Dinosara is back!

Thought I’d end my evening with a tea that I was pretty sure I’d be happy with after the last few. I really enjoy lemon chiffon from della terra, so I wanted to see how the lime held up. Now it’s been a while since I had the lemon, but I’m for sure going to be trying to Side by side in the near future as I think they’re both pretty good. It’s not quite Limey enough for me, but it it a creamy lime that I am enjoying. I think between this and lime gelato I’m probably good on lime for a bit. :)

If you like limes, and you enjoyed della Terra’s lemon chiffon, pick up a sample of this one. As near as I can remember the lemon chiffon, this one is a bit more citrusier. Yes that’s a word today lol

iPads and sliding scales don’t do well together. Ill fix this tomorrow but rating is around 85 or so.

this may be headed for my swap list in short order. I had a cup of this to since i hadn’t had any in a really long time and couldn’t actually manage to finish the cup. I’m not sure if it’s the result of being slightly sick or because i’ve just grown out of it but i’ll give it one more shot before it goes on the chopping block. I know there are tons of others out there who would love it way more than i do today heh

made this as one of my morning teas…it’s a little too sweet for me these days, so i suspect this will be one of those finish and then don’t reorder :)

Backlog from yesterday. Apparently i was a little tired – came home early and pretty much slept until this morning. It’s sipdown saturday/sunday but i won’t have much time to focus on tea drinking. Release weekend!

I’m aiming to get to 215 this weekend, though i’m not sure how mangeable that is given that i’m currently sitting at 227. But i sure as heck can try! :)

I pulled this one out yesterday because i haven’t had it in a while. It’s still a delicious creamy cakelike tea that is for sure a good one to have for those days you just want liquid deliciousness lol

minisipdown of this! sample has been all finished and now i just have my one package left of this. not energy for long winded tasting notes today but this is still delicious, though i’m less crazy weird about it now. This is a tea best left for “now and then” or the love affair wears out :)

Had a cup of this with dinner. Still a delicious cake like tea that is nice when I want a super sweet indulgent cup of sweetness. Again, nothing I’d ever want to drink every day but every so often its a nice tea to curb my sweet cravings and keep me on track in my eating well and staying away from sweets. ;)

Nothing to add much on this one, see previous tasting notes. I had a travel mug of this today while running some quick errands. Have to love buy one get one free towels that are uber awesome quality :)
